Kulusevski has been wasteful and Maddison has been man-marked out of the game. I’d move Maddison out to the right where he’ll make the chances we’re creating down that side count, put Lo Celso in CM and take Kulu off.

Definitely some positive moments in transitional play but the front 3 have been low on quality and application.

Looks good on paper but I’m not sure about their medium to long term future at this club personally

Lots of good, lots of bad.

Bissouma and Maddison outstanding.

Front three completely anaemic unfortunately.

Richarlison could and should be like Diego Costa in this system. Total shithouse. Get under their skin, wind them up, step on toes, etc.
This is what's most disappointed me. I wasn't expecting Kane-esque magic or precision from Richi.

I was, however, expecting constant movement, haranguing the defence, putting himself about, making life hard for them.

He's done essentially none of that.

Richy, we are not asking you to be Kane but we are expecting a much better version of yourself.
I'm no psychologist but from everything I read when we signed him, he seems incredibly emotional off the pitch. I can't help but think that a couple of goals would do wonders for his confidence on the pitch and could kick-start him to performing like the £60 mil striker we signed.

I don't understand that Deki criticism today. He's brought the ball into dangerous areas, got his head up, found nothing and turned it into a corner or a speculative shot. I've been much more disappointed in Richarlison's runs, positioning, touch, passing, and behaviour.
He’s playing as he always has which doesn’t work for Ange’s system. He’s not sticking to the sideline, causing the right midfield to be crowded. He’s not adapting and it’s hurting others on the pitch playing as they are supposed to be.

Promising going forward, accident waiting to happen at the back. porro VDV, and romero all guilty. Sonny needs ti stop giving the ball away though, don’t know what’s happened to the guy :/

I just don't see how plugging the full backs in midfield alongside one of the holding midfielders works in possession out of the back. both Porro and Udogie look absolutely dire in those spots when United manages to lure that progression. some of that is due to their own technical shortcomings, some of it is due to the lack of tactical progressions.

Am I being out of line in saying this is a very pleasant surprise in terms of the last 25 mintues
Most of it was but I thought we took the foot off the pedal for the last few minutes which is when (in my opinion) you can sometimes really catch teams out by going for the jugular.

Entertaining enough 1st half. 3 bookings for them could be an issue for them.

We’re always open at the back with a slightly high line so can never relax.

Just happy to be enjoying our games again.
