Game ends and I immediately get a text from a Manc supporter (who’s a Brit) that I’m mates with....

“Ooh ah Solk-sjaer!”

My reply:

“That’s interesting - When we battered you 3-0 you were quiet as a mouse. Not a peep out of you! Now we gifted you a goal with a stupid schoolboy mistake by Trippier and despite assaulting your goal 2nd half, you pipe up ?. Well done you won. We were the better team today but that’s the way it goes sometimes.”

Crickets....

Sometimes this happens in football. You don’t get what you deserve.

Most impressive was how we turned things round in the second half. If we’d had our usual shooting boots, we would have won that comfortably. But jiggidy fuck do we need a player or two. I hope something happens this window

Massive battle for the top 4 now, United will catch us before the end.
Hardly. They won't keep winning every game. And today they had a) a lot of luck, and b) we let them carry out their (predictable) plan for half the match with no response.

Gazzanigga should be starting and Aurier should be given a run. Levy needs to get that chequebook open this month..champions league next season depends on it.

Another big game, another Trippier nonchalant arrogant pass across the middle that doesn't make it. It's like being tied up watching your loved one get assaulted watching Trippier get selected.

I don't see what this has got to do with the fact we can't finish our chances.

It the long run it helps if you have better players than Trippier and more than 2 established central midfielders available. And we probably have only 1 in Winks. Sissoko is probably out for some weeks.

We didn't lose because of our full-backs. We lost because we set ourselves up ripe for the countering by the way we set up in the first half and poor finishing/good goalkeeping in the second half.. Could have had Walker and Rose playing at their peak and the issues would have been the same until we changed. It was the same against Liverpool earlier in the season.

Finally all the games have caught up with Kane, lead feet today..

Poch got the starting formation wrong, too much

I would say Poch got it very wrong!
I think if Sissoko stayed on, he would of battled with Pogba, no first goal and we would of coped better when they were in possession. Maybe Tripps shouldn't of started. But the team we played did enough to win that game comfortably. We didn't finish well enough, and De Gea did very well. We had eleven shots on target the second half, and they weren't pot shots, that would normally produce at least three goals. On another day we would of won that comfortably.

Now watch the wankfest over a Manchester United team time-wasting and defending their way to a gifted 1-0 win. Fucking infuriating.
Rather them wank over that and fiinally shut up about poch going there tbh (which he isn't).
