It’s very hard playing against Mourhino’s anti-football. He is successful because he will get his teams to do anything to win. His teams have never been about playing football. Nick a goal and then defend with the whole team whilst continually wasting time feigning injuries. The pundits love it apparently as they never mention it.

I am sad and tired. Almost 3am here.

My Sunday is all by ruined

In summary...

It wasn't our day, it wasn't the teams day, it wasn't Poch's day.

On a different day, we would have gotten the decisions.
On a different day, shots that ever just wide, or off the post would have gone in
On a different day, we would have fought tooth and nail to the final whistle, making the opposition defend for their lives
On a different day, the team will come out fired up for the 2nd half
On a different day, our subs will will make and impact and turn the game around.

But that wasn't today. Bad luck, bad preperation... And it wasn't written in the stars.

Maybe..... Next season.

Easy to say that but its in your blood, and its the hope that reels you back in

You may be right, but I've been falling out of love with football for a good few years now, this Poch era rekindled the fire a bit, but today was, for me, an Orwellian style boot in the bollocks to confirm why my love of football began to die initially.

Why are people so worried about our players leaving, if they can't put in 1 good performance in the later stages of a cup over 3 years then why the fuck should we care which super club bench they'll get a medal from

Going by that logic Vorm would only play when Hugos injured.
You only get a 2nd keeper as good as Vorm by promising him gametime.
Otherwise you get a 2nd rate 2nd keeper, and if your first keeper gets a bad injury you're proper fucked.
he's not that good, thats why he's a back-up. Ive got nothing against him, back-up keepers are like back-up quarterbacks - but Lloris is better and should have started such an important game.

8 semis in a row. Reminds me of the vibration train rides from Witham to Braintree back in the day

I'm not sure if you're drunk. Or you don't pay attention to your own posts. When I said "We played better", I was in fact agreeing with you when you said we did fine without Kane. Now you're arguing with yourself.

Double posted from one I didn't realise was there so may not of responded to the right person.

Certainly not drink, just struggling using my phone

We are a bunch of fucking legends, rival fans are spot on.

8 SF losses on the trot, we need some serious change in this football club as we are the nearly men and I am getting fed up with it and falling out of love of my football club that I have supported for 50 years.

We need to wrap up the top 4 now to keep Levy happy and go into our new stadium and just hope we don't lose too many of our players but seriously I wish Kane/Alli/Eriksen/Verts the best of luck if they want to leave. They have seen Walker win 2 trophies in his first season away, yes maybe only due to their oil money but at end of their retirement walker has 2 more medals than Kane but I know who is the better player.

I seriously don't think we will win anything under Poch, I am not calling for him to be out like some fans as he has done wonders but I don't believe we will anything under him, he doesn't have the right attitude to cups and is too much up Levy arse for getting CL football.

We want trophies and I am fed up now, 1991 since our last FA Cup win, but equally since our last SF win, yet those down the road who apparently are the laughing stock have won 4 FA cups in the last 5 years and could win EL this year.

Fucking Joke and I cant be arsed with the end of this season as for me our season is over now, so demoralised by that 2nd half performance

But look at those teams - City have unlimited funds. United are associated with Busby Babes and the class of 91 but their model is the same as city - buy players at the peak of their trade for exorbitant amounts of money. Liverpool have tons of cash.

We are financially a mid table team but ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal due to clever on and off field management.

Having said that, this was a frustrating performance. It was so obvious that United were packing the box and the middle, and allowing us to have the ball in wide positions. Trippier and Davies only had Kane to aim at. There were too many players bereft of ideas and walking in deep positions waiting for Eriksen to do something. We really need to be tactically flexible.

Yep. It’s hit me hard. It’s the constant disappointment when we see something good on the horizon.

What winds me up so much is Poch comments this week, just read them again....!

If this is how to inspire confidence in a team - really?

How is the FA Cup and League Cup not good enough for Spurs, yet City won it this year? Utd/Chelsea are going all out for FA Cup, all 3 of them won far more trophies then us in the last 10 years, so fuck off Poch is it not going to change us

Poch needs a serious reality check and realise he is not at Mourinho/Wenger level re winning things, fuck me Martinez and Redknapp have won more than him, he needs to realise he needs trophies.

If he doesn't win anything next year, he must come under pressure

Agree but never gonna happen. Toby is clearly gone

Poch is again putting our chance of trophies at jeopardy so he can just do what Levy wants, its clear Levy and Toby agents have fallen out and he now cant get a game. Our best CB last year cant get in our first 11 for a SF cup game

Sorry but Poch needs to learn fast, fans are turning!
Turn fans never turn.

Sadly I agree - Mourinho just knows how to win and he does it time and time again.

Exactly this. Makes me wonder if Poch has 'it'?

You can't always put it down to money. Look at Wenger last season the the FA Cup...they were underdogs against both Man City and Chelsea but still raised their game to lift the trophy.

Poch has to find a way to win these matches.
