Sadly if we win it will just feel like relief more than joy but that's where we are in this current form. Just get back in the win column please.

I'd like to see Sarr Biss and Lo Celso in the middle and we should consider Royal at RB, Porro at RWF and Deki at LWF, to stop him constantly cutting inside. Richy for Son to bully their CBs. Son and Johnson as impact subs as Newcastle tire are good weapons to have.

He is an injury doubt and limped off on Thursday, we have another game on Friday. Maybe we shouldn't take risks.
Yeah but feels like a big one against a vulnerable top 4 contender. I’d get our best team out, try and get the win and worry about Friday after.

Yeah when we’re not scoring enough goals anyway we’re not benching Son for a striker who can’t hit a barn door at the moment

I see this match going the same way as all the others recently. We start brightly and score 1 goal from a hatful of chances but ultimately lose.

I dont see much changing until we get our first teamers back/Jan window

Its up to the team to raise the level.

The difference between Villa and West Ham was tempo.

We need more of the tempo we saw against Villa....do that, take more of our chances and we'll most likeky win.

Dont, and we'll surely struggle again.

If Son is out, then I think I'd rather see a front line of Gil-Johnson-Deki. Richarlison can come on later into the match.

It's a very good time to play Newcastle... problem is... it's also a good time for them to play us :)

We both have a mountain of injuries.

We are not in the best shape at the moment... but Newcastle's away form is not the best this season.. And they have a very important CL-game in a couple of days.

If we can keep our energy levels high and be sharper in our passing and finishing... then I believe we can beat them...

Oh... and stop making silly mistakes and stay focused as well 😊

Need to be more ruthless. Turn those chances into goals and we'll be rocking and rolling.

Hopefully we go for it:

Vicario

Porro
Romero
Davies
Udogie

Bissouma
Lo Celso
Kulusevski

Johnson
Son
Richarlison

* So Kulu AM, Richarlison from the left....Son through the middle.

I prefer Son through the middle, and Richy on the left when they both play....like how they combined for our first goal against Liverpool.

Watching us vs Waste Ham on TV I thought our crowd was quite underwhelming overall. Tonight Villa raised the roof most of the match against Le Arse and it played a part. I know it was only Waste Ham but still a vital home game to get back on track plus still a derby. Such a missed opportunity.

So please - if you are going to the stadium vs Newcattle - make it count and those around you!

Vicario

Porro - Romero - Davies - Udogie

Bissouma

Sarr - GLC

Deki - Son - Johnson

Subs: Forster, Dorrington, PEH, Royal, Gil, Veliz, Skipp, Donley, Richy

I'm going with a 4-1 win for us
