I see Joe Lewis was next to Levy at the game last night. He doesn't come to many games does he?

I intermittently missed 5 of the last 10 minutes because of half the East Upper leaving.

Midweek evening game in London... its normal.
It happens every game, not just midweek ones and not solely at Spurs or London. It's a modern day problem. I, for one, stay until the end regardless. City next week will be the tester for me getting home from London after an 8pm kick-off.

I'm watching the full match because I missed the 1st half and currently in the 38th min and Eriksen has been absolute class, what the fuck do some of you watch, genuinely embarrassing how you analyse football.

Rose is really good first half as well, seeing lots of the ball and our pressing has been fantastic.

Okay look, I'll make it easy for you:

Top right hand corner there's a search function, type in Eriksen and change it to this thread.

The first page alone will tell you what you need to know.

I'm already dreading the walk back to Seven Sisters after the game. Might look at an alternative getaway.

Beyond my capabilities ;)

It's the Match Thread, it's always overly emotional.

Although it was for the test games, the walk to seven sisters got me home faster than Wembley ever did. Full crowd may prove to be slightly different, however.

What happens when you type 'sanctimonious wanker' in the search function?

I haven't seen the match thread during the game so you may be reacting to over the top negativeness but I don't remember him being "absolute class" he missed a couple of chances with poor finishes and slipped at the crucial moment when dele played the 2nd ball over the top. I really wanted him to whip a ball in himself as he was getting into positions for the cross but kept passing to Trippier. I don't remember him opening the palace team up too much. Maybe once for Son where Son overplayed. I thought he was significantly better after his assist.

Edit: I'm going to edit because I know people will read me saying I don't remember him being absolute class and assume that means I'm calling him dogshit because people seem to only see opinions meaning one or the other. For me Absolute Class is 8-9/10

I've literally been sitting here waiting for him to mess up or not produce bearing in mind the comments in here and the Eriksen thread and I'm seeing different. End product very good, he produced 2 excellent crosses his positions he's constantly taking u, passing excellent, he did pull out of a challenge with a keeper and this is just from the 1st half, not sure if slipping over is his fault.

I implore you to watch the match again without emotion and anxiety.

As I said before there is a desperation for him to be poor just because he may leave, it's like suddenly there's a microscope placed on him and people are over-analysing his game.

I kinda want to but I don't want to ruin the memories of the game with TV replays haha, I hate when I remember a goal better from seeing the replay to actually seeing it, the slip was unlucky the pitch was hit with hailstones just before kickoff. I think its the two chances that stuck out for me as his finishing is usually excellent but I'll reserve further judgement until I actually decide whether or not to watch the replay. As you say it was a very anxious half.
