The bloke next to me spent the whole game scribbling notes - lineups, subs, goal scorers etc - then cleared off on 85 minutes, thus missing the crucial goal for his notebook!

I had a very loud shouter behind me, actually hurt my ears a couple times when he screamed out. The worst part of it was when he let out the loudest fart known to man, just as i leaned back in my seat, and the reverberations from the seat made it so fucking loud. And it stunk.

Those weren't notes on the game, just his strategy on how to get out of Wembley.

Haha! It was ok last night actually, i was back at my car in Gerrards Cross at 10:30, and i stayed until the final whistle

Upside of a quiet Wembley is its easy to get away from, downside is the atmosphere is terrible!

Similar for me, stayed until the final whistle and was back at beaconsfield at 10:20. Ran to the platform and the train was there waiting.

Well it's clearly an og to me. Wouldnt be surprised if that gets overturned. He's as lucky as that stoke goal if it stands
His header was an attempt on goal on target so it is deemed to be going in had it not deflected, the fact that it was deflected did not change that nor did the second deflection, had the first deflection taken it off target and the second one put it back again you may have a case but the goal came about solely because Harry Kane attempted to score, was on target and nothing the defenders did could prevent the goal.
Fair enough you could say there was some fortune in that neither deflection prevented the goal but let's be honest, we were due some good fortune.

Llorente. He isn't quite right when he plays alone up top for us. I think as a team, we rely on Kane's style of play; aggressive, hold up, dribbling ball on the ground and he does a lot of this all alone, without many supporting players nearby.

Llorente struggles here but he looked so much better when he plays alongside Kane. I wonder if this could be the secret to getting more out of him, having a much more forward player almost playing 442. I suspect this is not what Pochettino has in mind however and Llorente will not feature much beyond the Caraboa ± Europa League (if we end there).

Lets get past Inter first.

We struggled against a shite PSV. Although it would have been criminal had we not won that game last night.

So did Suarez, Ronaldo, Costa etc. Sometimes you need players like that, they're winners. Having 'nice' players has got us nowhere.

I will still take nice players and a club that does things the right way every time..........

Van Bommel Post Match..

Reporter 'Any Complaints about the pitch tonight?'
Van Bommell 'No. Well.. it's shit.'

Can't have any sympathy with him. We could have played the game in a bog and it wouldn't have made any difference to PSV who after the first 62 seconds made zero attempt to play any sort of football.

Same. That’s never happened. Was back home in Gerrards Cross at 22:30. New PB! Oh yeah... and Spurs won.
