Watched him carefully today. Maybe the stats will prove me wrong but I’d like to see his “progressive pass” stats as every time he received it he went back/square.
He did make a fair few nice passes. One excellent pin-point long ball to Son on the left and a couple of nice ones through the middle between the lines.

I thought he had a decent game today. Absolutely prefer Bissouma in that role but thought PEH looked better in this role today than he has for a while (and I'm in favour of selling him).

Had a great day with my youngest son.
This is what its all about mate!

Also why its much better when we have a team that have a go cause even if its a loss you can go home feeling like it was a overall a positive experience.

P.S It should always be a positive experience with family, just good football helps to make it more memorable both ways.

He came out and clapped to all the fans. Seemed more like he is off to me doing that.
Getting subbed on his own just after we made subs also made me think that. But then we did another single sub not long after. Ange is a proper mindfu
I think Son looks a bit lost out that wide. Maybe some technical tweaks with someone else moving out to allow Son to cut inside. May be risky for Udogie to do that but Ange will sort it.
Seems he did that second half 👍

Højbjerg is probably the best player we can sell, without taking a step back as a team (and thus we should do it), but he has to be one of our most underrated players ever.

In both of our previous games this preseason, we looked much better the halves Højbjerg played (I don't think that's a coincidence). I couldn't watch today's game, but based on the highlights he plays a crucial part in most of our goals.

Dislike him, don't rate him, do whatever, but please give the guy some respect!

Disagree with the second and third points there - especially #2 - he absolutely does have an eye for a forward pass, he's done so on many occasions.

He won't be here at the end of the transfer window however much he looked like Edgar Davids today.

HIs problem is he gets his head down when surrounded and panics a bit with the ball. But give him time on it and he has the capability to spilt defenses with his passes.

5 talking points:

1. Kane is pretty good
2. Kane would score a bucket-load for ultra-attacking Spurs
3. Maddison already making Spurs tick
4. Spurs show why van de Ven so needed
5. Sarr catches the eye
And 6. Son’s decline might be permanent and not the result of carrying an injury (hope not).

No Harry was the only one that walked around whole ground.

Maybe he is leaving. Maybe he is not.

I would say, from my ears, it sounded like Kane had a lot of support in the stadium through out the match. He could easily be acknowledging that - as player of the match.

Noticeable that on both sides of the pitch our winger starts wide then cuts inside onto his good foot, right into the area already occupied by the underlapping fullback. We seldom get anyone round on the outside which might make us a bit predictable. Early days and all that but it may need some tweaking.

After hearing what sort of bloke Ange is, he is all about the club he is managing. I am certain if he was told to give Kane a send-off at home, he would have given Harry 10 minutes at the end to say his goodbyes. Not almost the whole of one of his very few games to prepare for the season ahead. I also feel if Harry knew he was off his applause to the crowd that have sung his name for years would have been more than a gentle clap as he walked around. It just didn't seem or feel like that sort of day to me.
