To be fair to him he’s right, the ref was a joke. incredible how that GK didn’t get a yellow for time wasting. It was disgusting at times and just took the piss as he knew the ref was too weak to give him a 2nd yellow.

The feeling of justice around the ground when we got the winner in the 11th min of injury time was so so sweet

That was a frustrating game for most of 90 mins but what a cracking outcome. At about the 80 minute mark I thought we're just short of will to win again, nobody in particular to blame. But we just dont seem to be more urgent when needed. And the boost of 12 mins added, followed by goals. And after Richarlison, a real urgency to not settle for a draw.

Massive 3 points going into a big double header. And 5 for 3 places up front that seem dynamic and threatening.
Someone made a comment on the radio that we would have probably been out of sight if the game had been played last week.

Don't underestimate the impact of the international break.

Honestly this is such a clueless rant.

If they set up to play out and we step in, it means they have taken too long. They don’t get to waste time trying to reset it. The ref is actually right. They need to play the ball short quickly or go long.

the stuff about VDV is absolute shite

It was looked at but they didn't draw lines. It was the correct decision but it was close. Probably no more than a foot
Honestly if they can't get the right decision that quickly then I am all for it.

Just sat down on train from Finsbury Park. Feels like it took an age from the ground to get here but I am still coming down from that high hugging everyone around me. That's for all the time wasting and crap officiating. Delighted for Richy to score, Johnson took his "goal" really well down in front of me and their keeper is a grade A ****.

Buzzing. COYFS. Loved the atmosphere. Best at a 3pm game in a long, long time for me for ones I have been to.

Obviously being at the game I don't know how or if VAR looked at things. Was the Johnson goal a quick look and how far off or close was it? Because it certainly felt like it had have been a clear offside.
Oh and Crawley got a 97th minute winner themselves. So either game me and my old man went to would have had last minute limbs.

I don’t think I have ever felt more attuned or connected to a manager In my lifetime (43 yrs old) when he answered the question about fans getting carried away etc. his response was perfect. I just felt like this man gets us as a fans. No promises but ambition passion and empathy. COYS

Think usain bolt needs to handover his 100m record to Vic.
The only problem with that is that we don't know where he was standing when the goal went in, he was out of shot so we don't know if he was on his line or nearly at the halfway line. However, on such a joyous evening as this I'm more than happy to assume he was on his line and just claimed the world 60 metre sprint record! (y):)

I agree it was a mistake, but that's all it was, a mistake. Not some bollocks corruption that sees the refs conspiring with the FA and Premier league to prevent Spurs from winning
Not corruption against Spurs for me, just people with a system not fit for purpose who have the tools to make the best decisions.

Not read any of the comments here but just so pleased to be looking forward to watching us play again. Even at 1-0 down and going into injury time when there was an acceptance that it was one of those days, the atmosphere was still good and no one was turning on the players or manager. What happened at the end was beautiful karma for the time wasting shit that came before. Great day. Special shout out for one of the worst refereeing performances I can remember.

Setting himself up for nice fine and more scrutiny moving forward. Brilliant 🤣

Also, If we score from the penalty that should have been awarded, Sheffield are not in wasting as much time as they did today. They really kicked in the time wasting efforts when it became clear they got away with it.

Howard Webb was asked the other day on an interview with Neville whether they were prepared to send off a player for time wasting. He said absolutely yes.

the ref bottled it pure and simple
I don't recall seeing him even have a word with their keeper once about it

This is why VAR need to sack off lines. He was only just offside but still clear as day from just a quick replay.
