The amount of people up in arms over Tanguy is baffling. He's been dire for 3 months and looks shattered after 10 minutes. IT's about time he gets a wake-up call, and if he doesn't answer it, move him on in the summer.

I quite like the team but would have preferred Ndombele in for Dele if I'm honest. Ndombele has been rubbish the last month or so (as has everyone) but he's been the one that has made the most progress since last season after falling out with Mourinho. It doesn't work with him and Hojbjerg but we could have put him in the #10 role against a very poor side where he would have hopefully flourished.

Let's be honest. We got sold a fish and only brought him in because of the Agent connection. He's garbage.

Levy sold our soul to Mendes the past few years and it's done a LOT of damage to the club. A huge rebuild job got much bigger with awful purchases like Doherty, loan signings like Gedson/Vinicius, and of course signing Mou.

I know many have said it already, but I just can't understand why Rodon can't even make the squad.

Dier DID play well in the final & deserves to keep his spot. He's a player I've openly backed, knowing I'm very much in a minority.

However, Rodon has barely put a foot wrong, same as Tanganga. Yet both are ignored while that clown Sanchez is unfathomably still involved.

I don't get it.

Some talking points regarding Mason’s team selection:

-Very interested to see the Lo Celso and Hojbjerg double pivot. I think Gio is best used deeper, and as far as I’m concerned, Liverpool (A) was the only time we’ve seen a Hojbjerg/Lo Celso double pivot from the start (where we were largely impressive).
-We were at our best this season when we had one of Ndombele/Lo Celso coming off the bench for the other. Ndombele coming off the bench here could be very impactful.
-Huge chance for Dele at the number 10 role.
-Rodon not in the squad after his performance against Everton (and nearly every shift he’s put in for us) is a disgrace. Especially with Sanchez included in the squad over him.
-Brilliant we get another match of Bale/Son/Kane starting. This trio would worry any defense in world football.

Massive chance for us to get a run started and keep ourselves in the race for the Champions League here. Come on Ryan, and of course — COYS.

Enjoying my "homemade" spiked iced tea lemonade. Might pop an edible and enjoy this game before enjoying the rest of the night with some TBP. Lets fucking go boys. Win out the rest of the season & give us fans something to enjoy. To dare is to do. COYS

You’re getting mashed to watch Sheffield United on a Sunday night?

You’re more fun than I gave you credit for.

Attitude and effort come first. If anyone isn’t showing totally commitment they don’t play no matter how much talent they have
