End of the season can’t come soon enough. There’s no joy in watching us anymore & after Sunday, nothing to fight for.

And this is exactly why I told people to stop putting any expectations / pressure on Mason - some of you already losing your shit, this was never going to change overnight.

Tbf I don't think anyone is blaming Mason, the blame lies with the 11 players on the pitch who for the most part don't look like they can be fucked to compete.

Think he needs a run of games in a team that keeps the ball, looks a class player to me but has be injured and in and out of the team.

I hope so mate, I just haven't seen it in him yet. As much as Ndombele infuriates me, I have seen things that make me believe he has it. Lo Celso hasn't so far.

I'm distraught watching this - we are already the laughing stock of European football - more ammo for our many haters to slag us with.
.
I'm giving it 10 minutes on the second half - This is torture. Don't need it.

Really, really bad so far.

We can't build any play up because there is literally nothing on when our defenders are in possession. Hojbjerg shows but isn't a play maker/builder.

I'm fucked off with Ndombele. Watch when our defenders have it. Makes no effort to show for the ball and just points as if to say 'pass it to him'. Then we he does have it completely slows the play down. He's awful currently.

Just a very laboured half. Like an absolute weapon I was expecting us to really come out firing and at least look up for it.
He's far too passive for a player with his ability. It's no surprise our ability to play out has gone to shit since Dembele and Modric were here.

Tbh I don't think we have controlled a game in midfield all season. Always get ran straight through. That's the biggest area that needs fixing to me.

Why does Ndombele refuse to pass a ball until a player (sometimes 2) is literally right in top of him? It's infuriating.

I'd take him off, bring Lamela on and drop Lo Celso in to a 2.

Absolutely not. It's more likely to fuck his career up.

Not really. Even Sherwood got the Villa job after us. I'm sure regardless of what happens he will have a career after us.

Ndombele is the sort of player that gets managers fired. So much skill and ability that you want to play him every week and the fans get pissed off when he's not playing. But when you play him, his attitude and work rate stinks and he takes away more from the team than he gives to it.

He's definitely a luxury player. If he's on it then he adds so much to the game. If he's not then he will cost you the game and you can't afford passengers in the middle of the park.

I dont believe he's the answer to our midfield long term. Just my opinion.

I, for one, am shocked that Ryan Mason at 29 years of age and minimal coaching experience has not gotten us playing competent football after 2 training sessions. Maybe try to be realistic and understand it’s not like flipping a switch.

tbf the players all know eachother, it's not fkin rocket science. even with a traffic cone in charge you'd still expect a team to have a go and at least be able to pass to one another. we just stink of piss.

How can you be a luxury player when you dontt have the game winning ability of a luxury player. If you are lazy af,doesnt press, but wins games i get it. He doesnt do that. So hes just a lazy player. Flatters to decieve. A fraud.

I was never sold by him. Another fraud of the highest order.

don't think there's a lack of intensity per se.. but there's a huge gap in the team when we press... between the forwards the mids and the def..

Question... Coleman said we’ve been below par. What do people say that? In golf, being below par means you’re doing well.
It’s the equivalent of Americans saying they could care less - it’s absolute bollocks and makes no sense whatsoever.

I’m surprised that so many people here are, well, surprised. We have been shockingly coached for months, we now have a pretty inexperienced manager in charge of a team with an incredibly low morale and missing our best player. This was never going to be an easy watch. It’s going to take weeks, if not months before we look like a team again, and that would be with a experienced manager at the helm let alone Mason.

We are the only side in the league to have not gained a point after being down at half time this season. Mentality isn't there.

Mason made a career out of hard work. Imagine having to watch players with twice his talent spaff it all away with lazy disinterest.
