God I hope we don't play Adebayor....ever. The sitter he missed against Villa was the nail in ththe coffin for me. The guy has every physical attribute to be a world class forward but he's useless.

I'd rather play an under 21 player

I just think that he's a waste of talent. In years to come, he'll regret it I'm sure.

Remember when we were a club plagued by injuries that we could always blame for our disappointments? We don't have that comfortable excuse any more.

Unless we're talking about Pochettino's potential head injuries that is...

Kane will play on Sunday, question is whether he'll start or not. This will, of course come at a price and I'm suspecting Soldado's the one who's gonna have to pull out his checkbook. Ade, however has carte blanche and unlimited credit with the bank of Poch.

Poch, will use the "stoke have big blokes so we'll use our big blokes" card. Kane will come on to save the day as usual. I wonder if anyone on here would put their "money" where the mouth is and put Kane in their fantasy team...

I'd put him in my Spurs team all day, but not in my Fantasy team. Why would I, when the manager insists on starting with a statue almost every week, rather than the young hungry talent?!

Same old, same old....give the start-Kane-Ade-is-shit theme a rest everyone eh?
A player just can't find his form sitting on the bench...Soldado and Ade have to be given some playing time; just as long as Kane is on the bench to come on as an 'impact' sub.
I think Kane plays better in that role anyway; plus he stands less chance of being overused and it gives our other strikers a chance to start to score.
Good news regarding no injuries....except we are REALLY missing Walker. Last Thursday both Fazio and Verts spent a lot of time playing in place of our fullbacks.

Ade has always needed a number of chances to finish. He tries to place every shot and rarely hits it hard. Never has been clinical imo but makes the team play better by holding the ball up when on form which unfortunately he isn't.

Ade has been given plenty of time. He also looks like he's either not fit or can't be arsed a lot of the time. He needs a wake up call IMO.

Because, someone on Ade's wages isn't allowed to sit on the bench. Soldado and Adebayor should be ashamed. They're being out done by a kid. These two world renown strikers. Tisk tisk.

So, being subbed for Kane in the week and to have Kane on the bench when he is playing, just might be that "wake up call"?

Not really. He's not playing well. Both Kane and Soldado are playing better 'for the team' at the moment. I think he needs to be benched. Chiriches got hung out to dry when he played badly but Ade has had chance after chance. Double standards IMO.

Because no player has ever missed a sitter.

I would prefer to see Kane start as well, but forwards miss sitters. If we dropped or got rid of forwards that have missed sitters this season, Lloris would be playing up front.
