When have we ever not struggled against teams who sit deep. Diamond or not.

I don't think poch is still entirely sure how to deal with it. It doesn't help that we always seem to take an extra touch instead of releasing the final ball.

I just watched Liverpool's goal yesterday, one touch, one touch, one touch pass goal.

Lamela and sissoko would take 3 touches taking a penalty.

So when is Poch going to implement this new formation/style I was hearing so much about in pre season? I appreciate it’s hard playing against a team that put 11 behind the ball but we’ve had years of it now and still no idea how to overcome it.

When we initially signed him of a great season in Italy I was convinced that he would be the ideal replacement for Bale, yes I knew he would need time to acclimate to the Premier League but unfortunately it's safe to say it just didn't work out for him. He should have been moved on this Summer, such a shame too as I think he has bags of ability but he's just not suited to the frenetic pace of English football.

I dont understand why people are saying this is a dialond formation. It isnt. Its supposed to be a solid 4-3-3. Well at least thats how they started the match. And we do not seem very comfortable with this formation, with sissoko being the biggest culprit, seemingly not knowing where he should be or what he should do.

I will be happy if we could get 3rd this year. City and Liverpool are miles ahead of us. It might be helpful to lower your expectations. We are not as good as what we think we are. New players need time to settle in and unless someone decides to step his game up just like what Kane and Son do in previous years, we do not stand a chance at all.

Lamela and Moura will be working off the wings. When we're in possession they are starting wide, and only cutting in if they have the ball. Right now everyone else is taking the space that Kane needs to be effective away from him when they don't have the ball.

They can set up how they like. The diving and rolling around like they've been shot and then suddenly jumping up as if nothing's happened when play is stopped though, they can fuck off with that bullshit.
