Anyone not got a ticket yet Poch needs you .

" Then you can see for our fans at Wembley every week that things are going down and down and down because people are disappointed with the situation.
"And of course, that affects the team and everybody. That is why it is my responsibility to be positive and optimistic. My job is to call to the fans to give the last push that we need. The club needs the help of the fans because they are the core and the soul of the club and this is a massive moment.
"I know I can't ask for more, but all together we need the last push to finish in the top four or maybe be a real contender. Then, playing in the Champions League is an exciting moment for the club."

Poch talking yesterday.
Yes I make him correct although not sure about real contender:sick:

Things are pretty grim atm & with no signings to come we really need to put in a performance today to give us some hope going forward, yes the result is the most important thing, but winning whilst also playing well, will give us more confidence for the games ahead.

Like fulham last week, these are the games that fill me with dread. Being indoctrinated as a spurs fan over many years has taught me that we rarely take advantage of promising opportunities to make things easy. Two home games against mid/lower table opposition to give us a massive likelihood to finish top 4. You'd hope we could manage that...

Son must start

Will be mighty tough this one. Watford are a strong physical side. I really want to see lucas or lamela step up and hit some great form (in goal scoring terms).

Nail biting game this will be.

1-1, Son to equalise late to on after Watford take an early lead, we dross around the edge of the box a lot and Watford miss several chances to take a two goal lead on the break.

Would be a great time for a sphincter relaxing 3-0 win with two early goals.

We haven't started a game with true intent for ages.

Race to a 3-0 lead and put on a couple of kids in the second half with the instruction to run like they've never done before.

I think the boys have been stung by the last few games. I expect a much more aggressive performance. Some redemption is required here. It is a tough game but winnable and we need this like a 6 pointer. COYS!

I'm looking forward to a first premier league match of the season tonight. Not had opportunity to get to Wembley yet other than the Inter game and like many other I'd been holding off going to a game a bit as I have to pick and choose my games that I get to.

Sonny brace and Eriksen in a 3-1 win for me. COYS

Gotta admit, I think it's really strange that so many seem to view our current situation as so apocalyptic. Our injury list is shorter than ever, Son is back and we have three very important and winnable home games coming up. Furthermore, there are actually some gaps in our schedule going forward (not games every three days) which means more time on the training field and rest for some players.

Not sure we'll see Son starting tonight...

https://www.skysports.com/football/...on-physically-empty-ahead-of-tottenham-return

Tottenham forward Heung-Min Son has said he "felt physically empty" during the Asian Cup after South Korea suffered a shock quarter-final exit.

This was 4 days ago, so hopefully he's been resting and spending some time physically filling up!
Poch has said he has shown good energy in training. Either starting and coming off around 60/70 or on bench to be brought on for minutes. Guess it depends on how the game pans out itself.

Yeah, if we were to loose and not buy anyone (which we obviously wont) then the atmosphere amongst the fans could get rather negative to say the least. After getting kicked out of two comps we really need to play well.

i think this is why people aren't confident.

Confident but nervous
think we'll win
but might be scares and worries
along the way.
I hope we start quicker
and with more sense of purpose
than at Crystal Palace
I'm sure we lull ourselves
into a coma
with that slow deliberate
passing the ball
Among the defence.
Pin them back
and get our positive game going.
I know the theory, draw them out,
but we get stuck in second gear.
Foot down.
