Totally agree mate. Said a little earlier I assumed it was a little clever management post City, as he got an unnecessary mauling for his performance. Easing the lad back into things seemed the best approach to me. Removed form the limelight for a while as many fans have goldfish memories. However, this would be a good game to get him back to passing the ball forwards, especially considering their ultra defensive approach to the game. Can;t see our CM pairing providing any decent passes to the AM3.

That's a defensive set up from them that says they don't care about possession. We need to make sure we don't dwell on the ball and just go for shots and crosses all night long.
