We will have to agree to disagree, we set up a good platform to thrash West Ham earlier this season, and going 3-0 up we should have kicked on and beaten them by 5 or 6 but we inflicted stupidity on ourselves by Aurier getting sent off and quickly let in 2 and hung on near the end and it could have been 3-3. In the league cup, to my pains I was there with my partner who had an altogether different experience from me being a Spammer and again we set up a good platform to knock them into orbit, we came out for the second half put our feet up, started smoking a big fat cigar and let them back into it.SO teams who they set up completely different for and played a completely different type of game. Come on dude....
I know your frustrated but its no excuse for making shit up. When West Ham came out at us early in the season we thrashed them. When they stuck 10 behind he ball under Moyes they frustrated us just like they did to Chelsea, City and Arsenal.
I think there was complacency again on our part last night yet again. We looked at their team sheet and their set up and lazily knocked it about slowly thinking to ourselves, eventually one of these chances will go in it doesn't always work like that, as the saying goes, if you do what you've always done you will get what you've always got. We didn't mix it up enough tactically by springing quick surprises with quick bursts and changes of tempo,it was nearly all too pedestrian we made it far too comfortable for them and we paid the price yet again.
