Still fucked off tbh
Yes it was truly embarrassing but also obvious we would roll over some things at the club never change, can't believe that we never reacted to west ham pushing up second half as they knew they could get something and they continued to pose a threat culminating in shocking defending between Toby and Sanchez it was always going to happen.
Last year we allowed them back from 2-0 to beat us in the league cup at home again just allowing them to gain control powder puff stuff.

god damn. We always make it so hard for our selfs.
If we had managed to win yeaterday, and Man U beats Chelsea tonight, we would had that third spot. Then we could use all our energy towards the CL games.
And i really think man u will beat chelsea....OGS is on a bad run and needs to turn it around tonight

Come on Shelfy,
Surely you can see that banging on about the number of defeats while conveniently ignoring the amount of wins (directly responsible for our current league position) is slightly disingenuous ?
Without treading on toes here I think the guy was simply trying to say that the number of defeats we suffer is as directly responsible for our league position as the amount we win.
Best draw a line under it and concentrate on the important matter of today....Leicester stuffing Arsenal and Utd scraping home against Chelsea (y) COYS !
(Starting to get over yesterday now....slowly)

But Shelfy won't draw a line under it though, he'll just keep banging his drum until he's got something else to moan about.
He's an alright fella but when he's got a moan on he's like a dog with a bone.

Yesterday was rubbish, today is a new day.

We've basically gone WWL, WWL, WWL, WWL, WWL, WWL, WWL all season.

Is that good or bad? :nailbiting:

Not sure where to put this but what i find also staggering is the so called police operation.

So before the game they cordoned off the bit leading up to the stadium from NP station so the Spammers can get to their entrance by 12 i think it was. Huge numbers of police and segregation etc.

After the game?

NP station, Spammers within the Spurs fans etc - like why before the game there was this police segregation etc but not after? I was surprised there wasnt more of the police operation after. Im more surprised there wasnt any proper argy bargy which could have happened... a bit ridiculous.

Is that near the Sainsbury's entrance? Yeah that was a bit strange - I think it's something the club will sort out soon though.

It’s such a weird one. We are third in the league and in the semi final of a champions league. It should be the best season ever but I just haven’t enjoyed it at all. I’d say it’s been my most disappointing season since I’ve been a season ticket holder (2007/8) apart from the Sherwood season.

It probably sounds really ungrateful but I just haven’t enjoyed it on the whole. Sure there’s been some great wins but there’s been something missing.

Today summed it up in a way. I knew we’d lose but it wasn’t really the team’s fault. The players tried hard but something was missing.

It must just go back to signing no players and then the stadium delays. There’s been so much negativity that it’s got to me.

We could still win the champions league though which would be the greatest day in our spurs supporting lives. It’s just strange that all.

Best season ever? Taking what's happened to us on and off the pitch into context this season I think we should be extremely grateful of where we currently are.

It's been symptomatic of our season. There was bugger all wrong with that lineup. There was nothing wrong with the effort. Our defense were by and large fine.

But going forward, there was such a lack of cutting edge, of focus, it was disgraceful. Everyone of that attacking 4 played shite, with indecision, inaccuracy, and hesitation throughout. Eriksen, Dele, Lucas and Son have the ability to destroy most defences, but they played like a bunch of kids playing 3 and In down the park.

There is no reason we shouldn't have won that by 2 or 3 goals, easy, beyond that in the final third we played like complacent, unfocused twats.

That is why I'm pissed off.

Really need Leicester and man.u to help us out today now after that shitshow yesterday.

On one hand it was bound to happen as our squad is down to the bare bones due to injury and fatigue, on the other hand a combination of Poch experiments (Foyth RB and ROSE LM/CM) as well as many other shit individual performances has cost us (Sanchez, Dier, Son, Dele) all very poor.

It should be drastically clear by now that the squad needs a fair bit of investment during the summer.

This window coming is so important, have to spend quite a lot IMO and eat some losses on players we cant seem to shift.

The losses on the outs is key really need a good clean up now. I’d get rid of any of these:
Vorm
1 of Trippier or Aurier
Wanyama (if still injury prone)
Lamela
N’Koudu
Janssen
Llorente

Toby and Eriksen May also leave but hopefully not.

Get in:
RB
CB* if Toby goes
CM
AM
ST

I’d also like to move Dier to CB and get in another CDM but can’t see that happening.

Our defending overall was ok although they kept on getting through far too easy down the sides and both centre backs need to look at themselves for the goal, but yes the going forward we never looked like scoring I actually thought at half time it would end a draw.

not sure why some people on here feel the need to be so condescending when they reply to something they don’t agree with or don’t like.

anyway, i get what you’re saying. in my opinion, Dembele was and still is a better CM than Dier, that’s more what my post was getting at.

Regardless of his wishes, there’s no way he should been let go without a replacement already confirmed.
He's an order of magnitude better than Dier, who offers very little.

I think the term is pedestrian, just seemed to lack any urgency, nobody was really running and trying to make space. And then they just want to try and walk the ball into the net. It's so frustrating to watch.
