Is there such a thing as daymares? Literally anytime I close my eyes a bit I see that ball flying past Hugo's hand into the top bins. Someone make it stop ?
So now your blaming him for a goal that occurred in a different phase of play that wasn't his fault.
Play for silly fouls, time waste, get in the refs face a bit and make tactical fouls.Need to start disrupting the flow of the game more when the tide starts to turn like after the first goal. Nothing I would expect a Mourinho side to be bad at.
As ridiculous as it sounds, I’ve finally calmed down.
I think the thing I found the hardiest to “get over” was the fact that, after 15 minutes, I felt we looked like the side that could finally win the league. There was complete and utter domination on the pitch and that was without Bale. I assumed we’d go on to win by 5 or 6 again.
Instead there was a total surrender in the second half but even then, the way West Ham got back into the game was a complete and utter fluke. We’ve had very little luck this season and you just have to think it’ll change soon. If we get that defence sorted, I think we can challenge, which is more than what any of us expected.
Perhaps the players started to feel the same too.As ridiculous as it sounds, I’ve finally calmed down.

Yeah totally agree. I think the fanfare behind Bale didnt help either. We were having a bad second half even before Bale came on and you’d forgive them for thinking “right, Bale is on. We can’t lose now.” Controversially, there’d an argument to be had that Mourinho was wrong to bring on Bale given the struggles we were having defensively. If Bale wasn’t available, I’m almost certain Davies would’ve come on first and either slipped into a back five or switched places with Reguilon.Perhaps the players started to feel the same too.
I do remember thinking "this is too easy" and when you're cutting teams up so easily and frequently I suppose it can lead to a bit of carelessness.
The first half showed why we could win the league, the last 8 mins showed why we can't or won't.As ridiculous as it sounds, I’ve finally calmed down.

It’s frustrating because if we can sort out our weakness from set pieces we’ll be set.The first half showed why we could win the league, the last 8 mins showed why we can't or won't.
Tell me about it, I have had hammer fan's telling me today that they feared a spanking like utd and we will tear many teams a new one going forward. It’s frustrating because if we can sort out our weakness from set pieces we’ll be set.
I don't think that we can blame those things for a lot of the goals we concede. Just poor defensive errors in the main.I think we need to catch a few breaks at the back. We've had bad luck and crap decisions one after another so far this season.
The only game we've lost this season is with Toby and Dier and the back.It still fucks me off. How many goals do we concede from set pieces?
I still maintain that with Dier we don't lose (I am not his biggest fan) but Sanchez and Toby have both regressed for different reasons. For me Rodon needs to be tried out as soon as possible as Sanchez is just not improving and Toby is just not dominant anymore. Skriniar needs ro be warned up for January.
I just thought, I bet Dyche is pissed off about the result. He'll be fearing a backlash on Monday.
Need to score at least 4 though because there'll be loads of set pieces and balls into the box so no fkin chance we keep a clean sheet
I don't think we are as weak as it's being made out. During restart, barring the Sheff Utd game, we were relatively sound.Tell me about it, I have had hammer fan's telling me today that they feared a spanking like utd and we will tear many teams a new one going forward.
But we are weak at the back and other side's will target this, Jose will need to work hard on the defence that's for sure.
I have watched Sanchez header from yesterday's game a couple of times and still can't understand what he was doing under no real pressure, these unforced errors need to stop it's what is holding us back.
