Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil has ended up on Sevilla’s radar in the winter market. Antonio Conte’s side don’t want to send the player out on loan. Instead, they want a definitive sale in the current window.

Sevilla are not willing to take Gil permanently, even through the loan with an obligation to buy formula proposed by Spurs. Despite the difference, both clubs ‘continue negotiating’. Sevilla are trying to convince Tottenham that a good loan spell could revalue Gil and this could improve the options to sell him in the summer.

If Gil goes we will surely sign another AM like Zaniolo.

Do we need to move the Gil player thread to the Transfer forum if he is being strongly linked away?

Why do we keep buying players not playing them and then put them up for sale. Gil, Bergwyne(?), now Spence. If you don't give them a decent run then you'll never know how good they can become.

That amounts to c£60m with minimal return.

No way we should sell him if Conte not gonna be manager next season.
Shame we don't have the bottle of Arsenal who identify good young players and then spend time helping them develop. Sure so won't make it but others clearly are. Gil is another young players who looks very talented. But I guess Conte is jumping up and down demanding his way.
