He is a Villa fan though that makes a difference, logic goes out the window when the heart is involved. He gets regular football at Villa, he won't get that with us.

He's also ambitious. He isn't staying at Villa in the Championship if he has the chance to play for Spurs in the Champions League.

The article says we will make an opening offer this week, everybody knows it will be rejected. Last week of the transfer window, I would suggest at best.

Why don't we just buy the club for say 60/70 million
gives the new owners a quick profit
then asset strip (Grealish, Odomah and AN Others )
nick their trophy cabinet
and close them down.

Don't they've taken over, more brought in. The Egyptian investor is said to be worth 27BN & he has said he hopes to buy the other guy out eventually. If that 27BN is money that could be made available then that's serious dosh for AV.
