Just make him aware not to celebrate too vociferously if they score, as it doesn't tend to go down too well.

But you should have little difficulty in obtaining tickets I would have thought.

I took my spammer mate to WHL last year 4-0!!!! he had to clap for every Spurs goal - But what makes it so precious is when I got home I looked at the recording on Sky, and there we were after the second goal, right in the middle of the frame, with him clear as day clapping along  - brilliant, just brilliant ( I know I am mean but I put it on a DVD and sent it to him at Christmas).................But wait, it gets better..........he said he would have is own back, and I would have to go with him to the Spammers home game this year!!:rofl: - you can't make it up:shake:

actually seriously thought of going to this game myself and hopefully to the Man City Game on Tuesday - make a week out of it in London (im in new york). So realistically what are my chances of getting a ticket on general sale(going alone) for both? i imagine man city would be tough but its a midweek game...

Wolves shouldn't be a problem, the Man City game has just been announced as being on TV, so that should help your chances, but I still can't see it making it to general sale.

If you check often enough something will come up on the seat exchange, you just have to be online at the right time and be quick.

Not sure about the Man U game, but it would be a little odd if it went to general sale, maybe a few restricted views or returns, but can't imagine many. They did do something odd with the seating though, they put all the Man U fans in the lower tier so maybe the upper tier which is usually away fans went on general sale to home fans.

Log in to the ticket centre thing (https://www.eticketing.co.uk/tottenhamhotspur/default.aspx), click on the Buy/Apply button next to the relevant fixture, scroll to the bottom and there's a box called 'TicketExchange', you should be able to work it out from there.

EDIT: I've just noticed the TicketExchange box is only displayed once a game is sold out.

it was sold out by the time i got through online at 9.30am yesterday. does anyone know if i would have been more likely to get tickets if i'd called rather than done it online? and is it worth checking ticket exchange or is it not generally used?

I got up at 5:30am in the US yesterday to get tickets, went through a queue and then was appalled to see the game was already sold out, which was pretty terrifying because I and a couple friends are flying to the UK specifically to go to this game, along with with the man city and blackburn ones later in the week, and we've already bought plane tickets!.

I checked every section and then a half dozen seats or so popped up on the seat exchange so I grabbed three, then while I was trying to check out the site timed me out and I had to start over and nothing was on the exchange the first time I checked so I checked again and some came back up so I was finally able to get three tickets scattered around the East stand.

It was pretty surprising, last year we came over in late november and were able to get three seats together for blackburn and everton days after they opened up for general purchase. Hopefully we'll be able to get something for Man City!

Blackburn and Everton last season both returned 2 or 3 blocks so the tickets would have been available on General Sale. Wolves have obviously taken the full allocation so less chance of a General Sale ticket.

Also, if you really do want to go to Wolves and you want 2 seats together etc, wait until the week before the game and keep checking the ticket exchange, that's when you will be able to get 2 or 3 together or close together. Rarely a match goes by with less than 10 seats on the ticket exchange the week before.

The night before is usually pretty decent too.
