Sure you're not getting him mixed up with Tommy Carroll mate? Check Kane's twitter profile pic, him high fiving Pav - not much difference in size. Kane is bit of a tank for his age.

The thing with going to the championship now is that the clubs are stupidly only allowed 5 subs, so they're more likely to prefer there own players right now. Maybe after a couple of months and they get some injuries/suspensions we can loan them out. I'm sure Hughton would have well noted our youngsters performances here.

I don't think we want our youngsters going anywhere to just sit on the bench. Going to five subs might mean any players that go out on loan there are expected to be involved a lot - why would they give a 6th or 7th sub place to one of our youngsters instead of one of theirs?

Kane does sound like he is progressing well. I'd like to see him rip up league one until January, then make the step up to championship

He can't do any more than he has, let's be honest. Part of me would love to see him on the bench on Saturday for the Everton game. We've got no other 4th striker options (well, Keane... but seriously!) - why the fuck not?!
