Tim Sherwood takes a young Spurs XI squad but nevertheless one with plenty of league experience to Orient for a friendly tonight.

Eight of the 19 players travelling to Brisbane Road played for clubs on loan in the Football League last term.

They include Danny Rose, who scored that memorable volley against Arsenal in April, flying winger Andros Townsend, Adel Taarabt and Jon Obika, who has already scored twice in first-team friendlies this summer.

Kick-off is 7.45pm - tickets are available on the night - Spurs fans can buy tickets on the gate.

Squad: Button, Smith, Rose, Mason, Butcher, Byrne, Fredericks, Dawkins, Obika, Taarabt, Townsend, Kane, Jansson, M'poku, Nicholson, Blackwood, Durojaiye, Oyenuga, Parrett.

We'll have updates here on the website, via spurs(((mobile))) and on our Twitter page SpursOnside...

Caulker and Bostock both played in England loss to Spain the other day.

Im guessing Parrett is included as he was suspended for that game.

14 mins: It's Orient's turn to threaten, and Alex Revell brings a fine save from David Button with his fierce shot from 15 yards, following a move that involved Stephen Dawson and Adam Chambers.

11 mins: Andros Townsend tries his luck after a neat exchange with Adel Taarabt, but Jamie Jones is right behind the former O's loan player's shot.

8 mins: Tottenham's Ryan Mason has the first shot of the game, drilling a low shot wide of the mark from 25 yards.

2-0 down

20 mins: GOAL TO ORIENT Spurs are enjoying more of the ball, but Orient are using their experience to good effect and they double their advantage when Scott McGleish is left all alone to collect Stephen Dawson's through pass and clip over David Button in the Spurs goal.
