If we carry on like this we could find ourselves relegated from the top division, would be very bad news. I'm sure Paratici is watching very closely. There's no way our boys getting hammered every single week can be having any other effect than crushing their confidence and destroying their love of the game.

Who is Alonso never heard of him.

Yago Santiago Alonso. Most know him as Santiago and most of the time he has been called this by Spurs on twitter but recent they've named him Alonso. Dunno why.

We beat Manchester United 2-0 and Leeds 2-1.

78 minutes for Oliver Irow for England U17s today before he was replaced by Arsenal’s youngest first team player Ethan Nwaneri. England won 3-1 away to Lithuania.

Good start by #thfc U16s in the National Tournament up in Loughborough.

It's felt for a few years that we do really good work up to U16s but the transition from schoolboy to full-time apprentice is where things go wrong.

It is absolutely vital that the club sorts this out, losing so crushingly as often as the U18s and U21s do these days can never be a good thing for development.

Interesting to see that the ex head of Man City academy, Joe Shields, who went to Southampton and stole the aforementioned 16yr olds, has decamped to Chelsea within a few months.
Still hard to believe Southampton took two of our best youngsters. No doubt money involved or are they saying there is a better pathway there. Why not go to Orient, first team in two years.

Reo Griffiths is another one. Left us, spent four years kicking his heels in Lyon's reserves and now a backup player at Doncaster. I had high hopes for him but he got too big for his boots.

The Joe Shields thing just reminds me of Arnesen when he did the same to us. It was very unprofessional then and its still a douche bag move now. Some clubs and some professionals just have no class. Chelski are one such club. No amount of misgotten moolah or bought trophies is ever going to change that.
