This U21 side has been very good. Looks like we may finally have a side to challenge in the Papa John / EFL Trophy

Charlie Smith is the only kid called Charlie that got released in the right sort of time period that I can find in my records. He dropped off the map so I guess it could be him. There were a couple of lads who's first names I never knew who were released around the same time, ???? Franklin and ??? Christian but other than that I've got nothing. Albert Rachi was Albanian and he was released around that time but he didn't go to Albania for three years.
Thanks. The next episode features Charlie so I’ll see if any more info.

Devine starts for Port Vale. Up front according to my FotMob app but it isn't always that reliable for positions.

I think Port Vale play with 2 CAM’s behind the striker in a 3421. I think he’s starting as the left sided CAM

Fanastic play from Craig and Andiyapan to setup Santiago to score our 2nd goal. Craig with a lovely splitting pass through to Andiyapan who crosses it low first time to Santiago who finishes it in the bottom right corner. 2-1 Spurs.

Yago seems to be firing this season, his highlights from the last game were very impressive.
Has he been with us long enough to count at club trained, or homegrown or whatever?
Seems like he's been around for ages and seen off some other youth prospects that were initially rated higher.
Thought some were surprised that we'd kept him so long but it looks like he may be coming good now?

I believe so, we signed him in 2019 when he was 16 and he's been with us since then. He's having a really effective season so far as this system really suits a lot of our players. He's got 5 goals in 4 games so far , compare that to last season when he scored 7 goals, so definitely much improved.
