How's the back going to line up there? I thought the under21s were playing the same as the first team. I know Sayers came to us as a left back, but he's been playing centre back, right? So is one of him, Dorrington or Ashley Phillips playing in midfield? With BLF on the left and Ashcroft on the right?

The way it's presented suggests 3/5 at the back though.

Guessing Sayers is at left back, with Donley playing the more floating 10 Maddison role. Something like:

Keeley
Ashcroft Phillips Dorrington Sayers
Craig BLF Donley
JSB Lankshear Santiago

Im defo not seeing the inverted fullbacks in this game... I thought I read somewhere Ange was trying to get the same play throughout all the age groups at the club?

I don't think Ange has much input into the Academy - other than the added benefit of players being better prepared to step in if necessary.

I think, rather than specific tactics, there is a sense of playing on the front-foot and dominating possession.

It's deliberate. The U18's and U21's are playing and setting up exactly like the 1st team, which indicates Ange has been involved in implementing the change with the respective coaches and staff.
