If that's the case he should study Kulusevski. Not pacy by any standards, but super intelligent use of change of speed, speeding up and slowing down to keep the defender guessing.I think they are like the question marks with Kane’s pace to be honest. From what I’ve seen of Donley his brain just works faster than those around him and it more than makes up for any lack of pace. He’s been playing in that Maddison role this year (who also isn’t quick) and seems to be thriving.
What's Moore's stats like this season? Must be similar to Donley and Santiago
7 goals, 6 in the league, 1 in the cup and atleast 4 assists, not totally sure how many he's set up.
Blimey, weren't they raving about him a couple of weeks ago? Some thoughts on Alfie Devine from a PV message board:
Devine ok at premier league football reserves or whatever its called will find league 1 players to be hardened more than Premier league kids, for all the talent they have they will find out the lower leagues of English football are very uncompromising .
Devine has too many expectations placed on him, because he’s at Spurs and was invited to train with the full England team. I admit he’s not probably been playing at his best but is that down to him or his he following instructions. He’ll be gone in January if we continue to knock the lad, he’s obviously got talent.
Devine can't start for me, offers little in the way of goals, key passes or aggression in the final third.
Looked like they should have scored 15. Some lovely play. The highlights indicate that Moore is playing up top (vs the formation posted earlier in this thread). The highlights are very impressive.
they look super fit as well. creating that many late in the game was good to seeLooked like they should have scored 15. Some lovely play.
It wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't blow the doors off in this loan. It's more about regular game time against grown men trying to earn a living from football. When he's in a team with other players of his skill level trying to play high level football, his quality will show out.Blimey, weren't they raving about him a couple of weeks ago?
They've got to give the lad a chance because it's a big change for him and he'll take time to adapt to the team and league.
We all know he's got talent and this sort of loan can only be good for his development, even if it doesn't go particularly well - again, I'm thinking of the Kane loans and how they helped him grow and learn.
