Rodrigo Defendi, Dante Casanova, I just want one of these amazingly named youth kids to make it goddamit.
Shaquille Coulthirst too. The best names never seem to make the best players.

In terms of Pele, I leave the opinions to the regular watchers.

Completely baffled by the 3 year contract offered to Pele. As far as I know he is in his second year of his scholarship (some 15/16 months) and he hasn't played a full game for the U18's. I have never seen him play so all I can say is to get a 3 year contract at that age suggests the club think very highly of him. It just seems very odd. I have seen the u18's about 3 times this year with no sign of Pele (like last year really) and whilst the current incumbents at centre back, Rowswell and Chaplin are fairly good they are not outstanding. Does some one know what's going on here. Whatever, congrats to Pele.

how is this lad rated?
In fairness he suffered a really bad injury as an U16 which kept him out for over a year. I think that may well be what's behind this new deal. Fresh start, almost. He has looked really, really ropey when I have seem him but, again, that could be the effects of the injury and time out.

He’s in my step daughters DM’s 😂

when I was there asked some of the 21 lads about him, donley, Alfie et all - had a laugh about it but fair play came over and spoke to us when we laughed about him chatting to the daughter.

hasn’t played much so no idea about on pitch, but seemed a decent lad

Donley , Phillips , Gunter all start for England U19's at 5pm, appears to be available on youtube free to view with foreign commentary though

Donley stuck out on the left . We’ve created nothing. Archie Gray looks the best player on the pitch , 17yrs old from Leeds. Grandson of Frankie Gray.

Been watching it on and off. The pitch looks rubbish and no good to play the ball on the floor.

But as you said, created nothing, we get so far up the pitch and then seem to run out of ideas on what to do. Certainly missing something in that team

Donley off again. I didn't see anything impressive from him in these games tbf. Phillips looks strong though

Also would add from the little of seen of him he looks like he could play the Maddison role and is suited to Ange's style of football
