Linton training with the first team squad. Anyone know much about him? Can’t recall anyone mentioning him before.
It must be a numbers issue because I don't think he's in contention for a call-up. He's decent but I really doubt he'll make it here.

Unfortunately for Dane I don’t see a clear ability that makes him stand out. He isn’t that quick, isn’t massive, isn’t amazing in the air and his movement is decent. He hasn’t got the ability on the ball that Harry showed at the same age.

He has had plenty of opportunities on loan to show what he is capable of, and for those saying Harry struggled, that was only at Leicester really. Norwich he got injured almost immediately and the Millwall and Leyton Orient fans absolutely love him.

As I’m from south London I’ve got a few mates who go to millwall and they adore him and would always be the fans that would back me up when I said he is the best on the planet. They said the thing they loved about him so much was his work ethic, baring in mind he played out on the left a few times for them which is definitely not his position!

It’s not easy for any young player to go from talented youngster to premier league level and there are literally hundreds each year that just drop from the quality showed as a younger player. For us I always think of Onomah who was such a talented youngster, and every club has players that they hoped would become the next big thing.

In reality, very few do, especially at the top clubs. Liverpool have Trent but that’s it really who plays regularly, Arsenal have Saka, we had Kane, City have Foden, Man Utd have Rashford and Chelsea have James and Gallagher.
John Wenham aka Lilywhite Rose, has previously said he is the best youth player in the air he has seen at Spurs. John has watched a hell of a lot of youth games over the years.
It’s hard to judge a player who has not had a few starts at Ipswich.
Last season at Portsmouth he got a few starts but was always played wide for some reason.
Plenty of our players have had poor loans but ended up with plenty of first team starts with us. Give him some time.

Call ups for first team training often seem fairly random. Jaziah seems to have only recently had his first turn out for the U21s after injury. Maybe a nice inclusive gesture, or perhaps just Ange not wanting to disrupt the U21s by taking key players out of training when he has no plans to use them.

1-0 up. Olusesi. Corner comes in and the ball ends up at Calum's feet to tap home from close range.

HT. Still 1-0 Spurs.

The game is being played at a great intensity by both sides. Some really good play too, again by both sides.

Our players for the most part are very comfortable on the ball. We're playing a very similar style to the seniors.

I wouldn't say any one player has stood out in particular. Looking forward to the second half.
