Should be two up. Lankshear out through on goal by Donley and goes for power rather than placement and the keeper produces a good save.

FT 1-0 win. We make it 9 wins from 9 and are now four points clear of West Ham in second but we also have a game in hand over them.

It was a tough game today, despite being in 17th place, Leeds made it difficult for us as we struggled to build on our lead that Soonsup-Bell gave us late in the first half. Lankshear absolutely should've scored in the second half, which would have seen Donley pick up his second assist of the game putting Will through one on one with the keeper and powered a shot at goal but the keeper saved well. Their keeper actually had a few very good saves.

Overall it was a good, hard-fought win and we end 2023 with three points and a clean sheet. COYS.

Think we have to thank some poor finishing, coupled with some excellent defending & a bit of good luck for the clean sheet. They hit the woodwork twice!

They were decked 3-0 and Fotmob's rating for Devine was 6.6, PV's fourth best player
I spoke to a family member who is a Boro fan and watched the game last night. He said Alfie barely got a kick but that it wasn't really his fault more some strange tactics by port Vale with Them playing very narrow and the front 3 rotating. No conventional out and out striker.
He said they played almost like they were a false 9 and 2 number 10's

I was looking at the history of our transfers for winter window and forgot we signed this guy back in Jan of 2023:

Jude Soonsup-Bell

Any idea how he's been progressing since he joined us?

“There’s conversations with Tottenham at the moment. It looks very likely that he’ll be recalled at the start of January. Tottenham have injury issues at the moment and they have their main forward going to the Asian Cup.”
