Horrible start to the season. hoping that a double transfer this week and probably a wildcard next week Will stop the bleeding... :(

29 points this week horrendous.

Ruddy, Toby, both keeping clean sheets with 20 mins to go I was looking good, until they both conceded. :banghead:

Gone for my transfers already this week. Had 2 frees, so Rooney to Aguero and Hazard to Yaya.

Beat Agueros and Yayas price rise too so saved some money.

Looks like a wildcard pretty soon for me too.

I didn't have time to fully pick my team before the season started so just did an autocomplete and then promptly flew off on holiday. So I've stumbled through the first two weeks. Thankfully two frees has allowed me to stick Yaya and Ayew in there in the hope of picking up some points. Wildcard just after the close of the window at the latest and debating whether to play my triple captain points early in a desperate bid to catch up ffs.

Not a great start for me but far better than many. I think a lot of people think they are worse off than they actually are. There's a lot of bad players who have already squandered their triple captain and bench boost chips and they are going to be nowhere near the top come Wk38. No need to panic; it's a marathon not a sprint.

Took an 8 pt hit for the forthcoming week and my team looks fine to me. Of course it probably isn't and in a couple of weeks i'll probably hate it but so will most of the people using their wildcards. I'm sticking to my preseason plan and aiming to use mine in Wk13.

Pretty pleased with my start. 2 from 2 in the h2h and seventh in the SC league. Go Ted Striker!

Looks like about 30% of owners used their wildcard last week. Consequently i'm not expecting a great week but at least I still have mine in reserve.

I'm a little worried about team value (currently on 100.9M which is reasonable but way behind some of those who wildcarded). I don't think we will see high team values this season with the new price rise algorithm; it's more about hanging on to what you have than making money as in previous years.

I have had an average start. Rooney and Kane let me down big style. Defence doing well. Had Scott Sinclair on the bench last week which was annoying.

Oh very funny.

Which one of you fuckers reported my team name as offensive?!?! :ROFLMAO:

Bastards have sent me an email, have automatically changed it from my chosen "Gary Glitter's U16s" to the more pleasing "CHANGE NAME".

Wankers!

That's pretty annoying. I thought your team name was one of the more creative ones. I hate petty censorship like that. I doubt anybody on here reported you but if they did they are dicks.

Strangely it does say that you can appeal the decision if you feel the decision is wrong or unfair. Anyway, not gonna lose any sleep over it. Team name has now been changed to Baines on Toast

A good name as evidenced by the hundreds of teams that use it ;). I stuck with the unimaginative fatpiranhas again but was sorely tempted to change to Don't Delle Alli on the Way.

Oh yeah, Baines on toast is an age old fantasy team name. It is, however, a temporary fix for me while I get my mind to work over the weekend to come up with something more original. Sadly the 20 character limit will scupper your desired name.

edit: new name is now Scissor Me Timbers!

It's a shame that FPL has classified both N'jie and Son as forwards. I suspect that has more to do with only having Kane as a Spurs forward option than any bias. I suspect if they had signed for Leicester or Liverpool they would have been classified as midfielders.
