Sorry folks intended to update yesterday but my landlord came round to notify us that they wouldn't be renewing the lease. She wants to move back in so we had to start packing! Will have one up tonight or tomorrow.

Must be chaotic for you! Can she oust you without notice like that?

Anyway, I guess we'll get a table when you've moved all of yours... any news on a BOBB for the next game?

Well she had asked a few weeks ago if we wanted to renew and we hadn't decided so partly down to us too I suppose. Suits though as we want to find a house for the little one so she has a garden to play in. She is 3 now so She was getting fed up in the apartment

Mate, I'm a letting agent - you know she can't just throw you out?

2 months' written notice as standard and as per the Housing Act (1988).

PM me if you want some advice.

We are out at the end of June so she's done it within the 2 months. We just decided to start packing as it's a nightmare whenever you have to move anyway.

Cheers though mate.

You still can't be forced to leave on her timeline. As above, feel free to ask if you want some free advice from a licensed ARLA member and Area Lettings Manager, happy to help if I can.

Pleasure. Not that simple, you might have a few weeks' wriggle room, although I'm sure you'd prefer to leave asap if no longer welcome.

Where are you? Have you found a new gaff?

We are on the hunt for a place. In the mean time if we don't find one we will move in with her mother until we do.
