The official site seem to have been very careful, unless i'm looking far too much into it, not to show any players numbers while playing tonight.. Apart from Gio, so, is he taking Salty's number 7 shirt? And if Modric were there, would they have shown a pic of his number 14? And I take it that Gomes didn't play, or if he did, they aren't showing him as Robbo's currently number 1, until he leaves.:shrug:

Or, its all a fluke... Hold out for your numbers printed on back of shirts people.

Numbers aren't set until just before the season starts. Last pre-season bent wore no. 10 in some of the South African matches, but that's Robbie's number.

Well, why don't you get the name now (if you've already chosen who you want) and then get the number later? Or is that not possible? I've never had anything on the back of my Spurs shirts.

Not true, sometimes they will start with numbers 1-11, other games they play in squad numbers, and even sometimes names.. I know that cos i've been to more friendlies than I have real games.
