We rarely disagree (I think the last time was about Rukavina?), but this time again I dont rate Strinic in the slightest as much as you do, or I just misunderstand your post. For me he's simply average, maybe even tending below average. His abilities are very limited and for me he's the weakest link in our NT. One fake move form the attacker and hes left behind, and worst he doesnt even try to run after the attacker when he loses a challenge. Offensive pretty much the same, cant beat a man and cant cross. Only thing is he has a really decent shot and uses that at least for the club by shooting from the second row a lot.

For the LB position I have much more hopes for Stiglec who had a good season for Zagreb and especially Aleksic of Osijek who showed really promise for the U19. Josip Kvesic still hasnt decided if he will play for Bosnia or Croatia, whos an exceptional talent from what I've heard from people from bosnia who see him regulary.

I think you misunderstood.

I actually said he's a question mark in our squad and that I'm not convinced by him. He's decent, but I've not seen him be consistent enough for an extended period of time. But he does possess some qualities and is only 24.

Our problem at LB is that our coaches seem to want to put players who can play there, instead of ones who are proper LB's. I honestly would have liked to have seen Manuel Pamic get a chance at LB (can't believe he wasn't given a look, at least in a few friendlies). He's not a standout LB, but he's a consistent one. Under Bilic we've had Pranjic, Simunic, Pokrivac, Strinic, and Corluka play LB at one point or another. You can't convince me that Pamic isn't a better option at LEFT BACK.

Hmm it's an interesting one. I'm not entirely sure where he'd fit in Di Matteo's system. It's like they are just signing a load of attacking flair players (or at least targetting them) when they have holes at the back and have lost their most dangerous striker.
