One of the players I'd like most. As others have alreay pointed out, he can play in all AM positions or up front. We could easily find plenty of games for him ! He's skillful, got a great touch, good work rate and fight, decent pace, and all round a bit of a sparkplug. He'd be great in the PL

I've never seen him play personally, but I asked my cousin who is from Rome and a massive Lazio fan (and therefore a follower of Seria A) and he says this lad is fantastic, for what little that is worth

There was itk on this geezer a couple of years back before he had that big injury that we had a big hard on for him, also mentioned that although he played that #10 role that die to skill level size and shooting ability that he could possibly make the move up to be a #9 in the future.......

If we could get him then I doubt we'd have too many troubles putting him and vdv in the same team. If finding a way to make that work is our biggest problem then we're doing pretty well. Would seem unlikely at that price but we are a step up from fiorentina.

this would be a signing of intent, for sure. One of those "complete" forward players who's more or less got it all.

For which position though, AM or striker?

the last time i checked, he was still a city player on massive wages.

What about Mandzukic? Wouldnt mind Mandzukic and Jovetic up front for us. And I think taking wages and fees into account, they would come around the same level as Ade on his own. Mandzukic earns I think 1.7m Euro per year in Wolfsburg, thats why his agent had an argument with Magath and why they want to let him go.

Is that based off that twitter comment, or have you heard something (reliable)?

Strinic is ok, but one of the question marks of our side. Although left back is probably his best position, he's one of those players who has also played in midfield and gets moved around a bit. He's decent, but I'm not fully convinced by him yet. He's got a good motor and has the ability to go up and down throughout a match. Decent going forward, but not known for being a great crosser of the ball. Decent defensively, but prone to some lapses.

Don't get to see him enough at club level anymore, but from what I've seen he's been decent (but again, played in a few positions).

LB was a big issue/question mark going into the Euros. He did ok yesterday, but he'll see how he fares in these next two matches.

We rarely disagree (I think the last time was about Rukavina?), but this time again I dont rate Strinic in the slightest as much as you do, or I just misunderstand your post. For me he's simply average, maybe even tending below average. His abilities are very limited and for me he's the weakest link in our NT. One fake move form the attacker and hes left behind, and worst he doesnt even try to run after the attacker when he loses a challenge. Offensive pretty much the same, cant beat a man and cant cross. Only thing is he has a really decent shot and uses that at least for the club by shooting from the second row a lot.

For the LB position I have much more hopes for Stiglec who had a good season for Zagreb and especially Aleksic of Osijek who showed really promise for the U19. Josip Kvesic still hasnt decided if he will play for Bosnia or Croatia, whos an exceptional talent from what I've heard from people from bosnia who see him regulary.
