Not really sunk in for me either, I've been on a high all week, but I still can't believe it.

I watched the ITV highlights this morning [downlizzled them last night] and with their commentary team it was awesome. Wish they had the final live. It sank in more after hearing a commentator get truly excited for us!

And the Carling Cup is going back ... to WHITE HART LANE!

Ha! Well, unfortunately, I can top your story. The two gents I usually go with [known on here as talkshowhost86 and jimbo] went and I didn't. I missed out by 8 points. I also had the pleasure of making the application and therefore being the fronter of the funding. So not only did I pay for their tickets (obviously they've paid me back) I didn't get to go.

I win! :-(

Didn't stop me meeting them at Tottenham for a booze up though.

once we got to the semi-final i knew we had a big chance. but i thought that typical tottenham would blow it, but i kept my faith and we won it!!

im just livid that i didnt put a bet on spurs to win the CC right at the start. the odds would have been bloody good!!

At the beginning we were 10/1 to win it.

I always thought we stood a good chance since that first leg of the semi finals at the emirates where it was 1 - 1. This feeling intensified after the 5-1 second leg, and our performance against ManU after. I always thought that if we had the back four that we eventually started with, we stood an even better chance! The rest is history!!!

I hope it hasn't sunk in for me yet, because I've yet to feel really happy about it. When the final whistle blew, I didn't really feel anything. Not relief or joy or anything really. It was weird.

I was celebrating because I was there, but it was pretty forced. I still didn't really feel much. It was all a bit weird.

Perhaps because I saw so many glory years from the 60s onwards, it did sink in immediately for me.

If anything, it was a sense of huge relief that we had won some silverware again. It felt right and it was about time!

More to come now we hope.

I downloaded the picture montage that jj1978 kindly put together and my loverly wife, who works at a local printers, go it blown up to a 1.5 meter by 1 meter poster.
It is now (temporarily) on the kitchen wall, so every time I enter or leave the house, it is in front of me.
I just keep staring at the pictures of the lads with the trophy and the joy on their faces.

I guess it has sunk in - but I'm in the process of watching about the 5th re-run just to make it sink in a litlle more :) I prefer the ITV commentary BTW - I really don't like Sky - so glad UEFA is on ITV - while I want CL won't be happy to have Sky commentary on it if we get there - oh hang on tho - we'll be Big 4 then and maybe they'll start bigging us up and recognising we are one of the great clubs of England

I've watched the highlights every day since sunday and it's jus sinking in that we won it. I'm already dreaming about a possible cup double.
