Stoke had won their last four and were unbeaten in their last six at home

It wasn't a good performance over all but that is worth baring in mind and we should still consider the result as a good win

Danny Rose was labelled a cheat by Stoke yesterday, I know there are those who don't favour him on here, but at what point did he cheat? He was fouled twice and you cannot blame his reaction to Cameron. Cameron went in deliberately and no booking. Okay, Rose should've been smarter and walked away, but he was being abused by the home support throughout and I think I would've been the same. Say what you want about Sherwood, he was right to take Rose off and send him to the dressing room.

Yup, that is one of those very rare occasions when he got something right and I think we all know that.

Well you read it wrong

I was actually quoting the commentator on goals on Sunday who said that they had won their last 4 and were unbeaten in the last 6 home games

We played them at their home and there they had won their last four and were unbeaten in their last six - even if you read it wrong you should have been able to use logic to understand what I meant or at least checked the stats before disagreeing with me

Fair enough. You only have to see what good tactics, coaching and organisation can do by watching the chavs today. I looked at Sherwood's formation up there and knew it was suicide before the game had even kicked off. Just hope he can learn from those mistakes, but will say it again, given his chronic lack of experience I think he has done as well as anyone could have expected - certainly better than I expected.

In "real manager" i guess you mean someone like say, Santini, Jol, Ramos, or AVB................thought they all won something?

Well they wouldn't let England up have five teams when it meant denying a team of a spot they had earned - why on earth would they create an extra birth for us to give to someone who didn't earn it?

Plus if it was a possibility don't you think it would have been mentioned a lot in the media by now? The prospect of us or arsenal missing out if Chelsea one it was all over the media since before AVB was sacked that year
