Is Sgt Wilson carrying a slight injury? Even though I'd never leave him out by choice myself, if he has got a small knock then as painful as it may be to not have him start today, then I think it would be the right decision to leave him on the bench today: the idea of him being out for longer because he started and aggravated a slight injury does not bear thinking about.

Still, that's IF he's got a knock... if not, then I echo the collective "wtf?"s!

Well Kaboul needs to start playing there, because when Palacios eventually gets suspended he will be expected to start.

Harry favouring the FA cup over the race for 4th by dropping Wilson.

I think we'll miss Wilson more today than we would against Fulham.

That's almost suicidal to go into this game with no WP. Kaboul in MF...... I really aint sure with that one.

Palacios on the bench!!!!!!!

That is mental. I do not agree with that at all. In fact I felt Wilson was pivotal to winning this game. If we lose... we have found our reason to moan.

well, it adds height at least... for all his faults, Kaboul is almost as good as it gets in the air! And as long as he holds it, plays it simple and plays it to Modric/Krancjar/Bale then it should be okay IMO... have faith in Harry

Not so much favouring the FA cup as it is wanting as many big headers of the ball on the pitch as possible. I don't agree, but i'm sure that's the reason. Bet Crouch would have started even if there hadn't been an injury to Defoe.

Edit: Great minds............

I'd just about psyched myself up for this one with Ledley, Woody, Lennon, Hudd, Defoe et all out injured, and now Palacios on the bench! All I can think of right now is Wolves 1-0 Spurs.

cannot agree more. We need Wilson more than ever in games like this. Kaboul isn't a defensive central midfielder. Big gamble by Harry.

we just have to look at ourselves. Credit to stoke, but if we want to get into CL, we simply have to prove we can deal with tenacious and physical teams.

I think everyone is underrating Kaboul's technical ability. I rekon he'll do just fine!

I really don't get all this hostility on here towards Kaboul.
We have a very limited number of senior players available and this is how Harry decides to cover for the week ahead. If Wilson got booked today (he still can if he is used) We have no proper cover for him atall on Wednesday.
