They have got the better of us at the moment. I think our players are a bit flustered

We must get three points here, no excuses. All they need to do is pass and move, Stoke are awful.

Is that a cat with a watermelon on its head?

I had no idea what you were talking about for a while

Yes, I think so. You can't go wrong with a daft-looking animal pic. Timeless humour. I did like that pic of the dog dressed up as the starship Enterprise in the pics thread in chat. That was genius.

That's pretty stupid then and could be costly.

Kaboul for centre forward then. :-|

If Keane hadn't gone out on loan then I'm certain that we wouldn't have brought in Gudjohnsen: how many Premier League clubs have 5 first team strikers on the payroll? And so we'd be down to two fit strikers anyway. The only difference is whether people rate Keane higher than Gudjohnsen, and judging from the posts on this forum in the last 6 months, that's not a clear-cut thing at all.

It's purely bad luck that Pav got injured just as Defoe has gone as well, nothing to do with stupidity on the club/management's part. The lack of non-cup tied cover at RB and CM is more of an issue that could have been avoided, IMO.

awful half. we look like we're trying to play like stoke, which isn't clever cos stoke, being stoke, are better at playing like stoke than us. don't think i've seen so many wild hoofs forward by 2 teams in a prem game before. brainless football.

Totally agree.

With the caveat that apparently we're paying Gudjohnsen huge wages (maybe bigger netto than Keane's), and so far Redknapp has started him in perhaps one game?

Eidur's had two months at the club to get fit - by working out rather than by shagging Wayne Bridge's ex (again). This is his chance to show what he has to offer at EPL level.

How much of the player we remember from Chavski, and who surfaced occasionally at Barca, is left?

Im getting frustrated with us playing long balls up. We need to get Ekotto off, Palacios on and play to our strengths.

Gomes
Corluka Dawson Bassong Bale
Kranjcar Kaboul Palacios Modric
Gudjohnsen
Crouch
