We all love Tottenham Hotspur, and we must all realise, this is no joke, we are facing one the biggest, toughest uphill seasons in our history, and its time to all be as one.

We can all point the finger at who we think is responsible, and to blame, till we're blue in the face. But, time for change, out campaigns, booing is NOT for now.
The fans, team, management, and everyone involved in THFC need to focus in supporting our club, all going in the same direction to get through this.
If we cause more unrest, its all going to be further hindrence to our club, and its us being relegated at the end of the day, and we all don't want that, and thats why its essential we all stick together.

Changing managers now, won't help, as he will have the same players to work with, and will take time to initially find a replacement, and then more time for that man to adapt to a new club.

Changing the board won't change anything, as it will just cause more distraction from off the field.

The only time to change is in January, in terms of players, and at the end of the season. Then is the time to assess our current situation, and make structure, and personnel changes.

Mine, yours, families club that we all love, and I have never ever contemplated Championship football for Tottenham, and it scares me. Time for us to show the rest of England the true fans that we are at THFC and get behind our team / club until the end.

Damn right.

Each and every fan needs to adhere to this philosophy. It's the only way we can aid the cause.

We have to do everything in our power to lift this club!

We'll all support the team on the pitch come what may - doesn't mean we can't be outraged at the way we've gone from top four challengers to being the worst side in the prem solely due to awful decisions by the management and board.

Football is a results driven business, when we don't get results someone MUST be held responsible. Usually its the manager held responsible - but we don't seem to want to hold anyone responsible - the club isn't holding Comolli responsible for fucking up the transfer window and it isn't holding Ramos responsible for failing to secure results with the squad at his disposal.

If I failed to do MY job properly, I'd be told what improvement was required, given a timeframe to improve, and sacked if the required improvement wasn't forthcoming. Of course if I was unable to deliver the required improvement due to circumstances beyond my control, I'd be able to claim unfair dismissal.

So either Ramos is held responsible for the worst run of form in the club's history, or it is deemed he can't be held responsible because Comolli/Levy didn't deliver a squad capable of achieving whats expected.

The notion we should all sit back and be patient while the club we love goes down the swanny is nonsense. Sack Comolli for starters, he hasn't delivered a complete squad since he's been here - we've never started a season with an adequate first team squad and his failure in the role has cost us dearly. Secondly set Ramos a performance target, six points from the next 3 games or something like that, if he doesn't meet the target - fire him, with NO compensation, for failure to dispose of his duties adequately - the same any of us would expect if we failed to do OUR jobs properly.

I agree we can all be outraged and have our own conclusions on who is to blame etc
But sacking Comolli, or the board, is that going to make the performances on the pitch improve and get us results? No it won't, it will just cause more attention towards our club, and a distraction to what needs to be done on the field.

This is ludicrous!

We can't just stop venting our frustrations. When are we going to break out of this mindset that if we're complaining we're not supporting the team. It's bollocks!

If anything, a plastic fan is the one who won't complain, because he/she couldn't give a monkey's toss. When I look at the table, I feel physically sick and also want to punch something until the red mist goes away.

Being in the stands is one thing. When there, everyone has to get behind the players and shout for all their worth. But there is no way in hell that I am going to stop my complaints while we sit at the bottom of the table with TWO POINTS FROM EIGHT MATCHES!!!

My alternate suggestion is that we remove the blinkers from our eyes, because make no mistake about it, we are in all sorts of trouble. Historically, no club in the history of the League has recovered and saved themselves from relegation when in a position like ours. Not Premiership history, LEAGUE history. That's 120 years.

I'm far from content to stick my fingers in my ears, hide under a blanket and hope that the situation will resolve itself. If my complaints have even the tiniest fraction of an effect on sorting out our problems, I'll shout until my throat is ragged.

As Wrighty said on Talk Sport this afternoon - our players are Premiership quality, not Championship quality, but the Team is not Premiership quality. That's the issue.

It may take time to bond but we have thirty games and ninety points to play with.

I agree with every word of this, absolutely spot on. I really don't understand why people do not seem to be able to seperate getting behind the team on matchdays and criticizing the (farcical) way our great club is being run. There are far too many so called fans who seem quite happy to swallow the bullsh*t spin the Levy/Cullen PR machine chucks out.

Summary

Let me summarize all recent calling-to-action ‘viewpoints’ (random):
  • Jenas is no Captain. This is why the team has no motivation.
[*]Give Woody the armband, he is the leader.
[*]No, give the armband to David Beckham. Oh, and sign him, of course.
[*]Bring back Malbranque, we miss him. And Tainio.
    [*]Sign Heskey.
    [*]Sign Veloso.
    [*]Sell Bentley, the scum.
[*]Come back Hossam Ghaly, all is forgiven
[*]Where is this Rocha guy? Ah, no squad number? Why?
[*]Stop it! Get behind the players
[*]No, sell the useless ****s. All of them.
[*]Sell the useless ****s. Play the academy.
    [*]Sack Comolli
    [*]Sack Comolli
    [*]Sack Comolli
    [*]Sack Comolli
[*]Sack Comolli and suspend the DoF position.
[*]Sack Comolli and keep the DoF position.
    [*]Down with Levy
    [*]Down with Levy
    [*]Down with Levy
    [*]Down with Levy
    [*]Down with Levy and ENIC
    [*]Down with the Board
    [*]Demo against Levy
    [*]Don’t demo against Levy
[*]Levy stay, Comolli go, Ramos stay.
    [*]Sack Ramos.
    [*]Keep Ramos.
    [*]No, sack Ramos. Bring in:
– Allardyce
– Venables

– Sven
– Souness
– Curbishley
– Sheringham
– Sparky
– O’Neill
– Roy Keane
– Pleat
– Bilic
– Klinsmann
– Gross
– Promote Gus
– Bring back Martin Jol
– Exhume Bill Nicholson

Got tired, sorry.

Well, the mammoth list above is nothing more than sign of huge panic. Yes, we are apparently in deep shit. But I never thought I would find this place in such a ridiculous state of reigning fear and dominating nonsense. How come no one mentioned Arsene Wenger and Chrissey Hutton for manager? I’m confused. After all… Graeme fuckin Souness?! And no Chrissey? I can only assume it’s poor imagination despite the mind-boggling long list of crap. In just 4 days I’ve read so much bullshit on SC, yeah, so much I can’t remember in the 4 years of lurking on these pages.

Yes – I can hear you! ‘We Spurs fans have right to be furious. We want our Tottenham back. We’re going to get relegated if we don’t act. Act now! You are a patronizing ****! Neg rep him!’ Etc, etc…

Here’s my prediction, my anti-panic pill, my own tuppence of nonsense:
Well, Levy won’t step down. No one is going to buy the club at the current financial climate. Thank god Levy is no Ashley. (Although I’m steadily getting to the assumption a significant part our support is Toon-esque.). Ramos will also stay. Levy wouldn’t cough up the 15(?) mil to sack JR. Also, there will be no one to demo against Levy on Sunday. The mass protests on Sunday is media wind-up. Those sage individuals with ‘LEVY OUT’ banners will fold em and keep quiet for not getting enough vocal support.

Levy, as an experienced top manager, will let the steam out by kicking Comolli out and bringing Toni Jimenez in. Ramos will have to sweat for his job. The team will start gathering points come November, we’ll be out of all cups come January to focus on relegation battle and we’ll finish 14th in the League.

Donna Cullen will stay.

Good night.

repped.

Of course we have to support the team and back them to the hilt - that is the right thing to do.

We also have a duty to do what is right by the club, and that is to try and do something, anything, that might stop this mismanagement of our club.
The bigger problem is the conduct of the board - if we sit back and watch it happen, they certainly will not do anything about it. The only real way we have of trying to get the board to do something is by protesting, or voicing our anger - be that in the form of a rally, a boycott or some other means.

At Tottenham we always seem to have to do something. If not sacking the manager, its sack the board, sack the director of football, sack the medical staff....sack sack sack sack off. We have to learn the sack business doesn't work and its now time to stick.

What we need now is to stand firm and support the board, support the manager and support the players. We need to sing and make White Hart Lane Hell. Even if the away teams play 10 men behind the ball and try to catch us on the break, it should not silence us. Even if were losing we should continue to sing our way out of it. Even if Jenas, Modric, Lennon, Bentley make a bad pass we shouldn't jump on there necks.

This is the time to sick with what we have. It could be the making or indeed breaking of the team, personally I believe it to be the making.

The most positive thing to take from the game IMO was Modric and Ramos speaking to the press in his limited English...he has now crossed the line and opened up to the fans.
