After seeing Everton v Arsenal, thing that stood out for me is how much of a impact their back 4 had.

Our back 4 especially full backs are one of the worst in the league. All 3 full backs - Rose, Walker, Naughton can't defend against top quality players or can overlap in attack & provide proper crosses.

Some are against radical changes in squad. But IMO, unless we revamp our back 4, we will concede 4s & 5s against top oppositions.

Lukaku wont come to us,especially if Everton qualify for CL ; Also, Chelsea will be looking for 30+ for him, given they bought him for 18m. I can't see us going for him, unless we sell Soldado/Ade on a good profit.

I would rather buy Guiseppi Rossi - & was in unbelievable form for Florentina now 15 goals in 20 games. He is recovering from a setback in Jan though. If he is fit, he could be a perfect fit for Soldado, playing behind him.
He has been prolific in Laliga as well as now in Serie A. If Florentina dont qualify for CL, we can surely go for him. At 15-20m he will be a bargain buy.

I agree we need a solid back 4 to call soon, but for me the most important part is the 2 DC's. We need a consistent and solid 2 and our full backs will improve with confidence and continuaty.

We definitely need a new LB but I can't think of a RB better than Walker that we could realistically get and remember he is still only 23.

Walker is alright but he has got to improve his end product in final third, especially crossing.
Interestingly, we have got a really really good 17 year old RB coming up in Academy - Kyle Walker-Peters. He was awesome in some of the games I have seen. Hopefully he can progress like Luke Shaw, but needs a proper coach/manager to do that.

Let's be honest...we won't be strengthening the squad. We'll replace our best players with some more downgrades, and confirm our return to mid-table mediocrity.

Because it just that easy, shaw and lallana would cost 50m+ and I seriously doubt they would come to us anyway

Strong feeling that we will not add any strikers.
I guess Kane will get a run till end of season. If he impresses, its very much possible that we will stick with Soldado, Ade & Kane.
I am sure priority for new manager will change defense and probably correct the imbalance in CM & buy a winger.
