I was just a kid when he scored a free kick against us, whilst a Forest player pushed our wall aside and developed a dislike for him because of that. It took me some time to realise he was a beast of a full back for England and actually comes across a decent kinda guy when he was in charge of the U21's. I do hope it works out for him, 'back home'.

I always used to think Pearce was a decent bloke until the last u21 Euros when he ignored the likes of Barkley and Carroll in favour of a bunch of overrated plodders like McEachran and Shelvey, came bottom of the group playing awful football then afterwards blamed it all on the players.

Forest are my 2nd team, and even though he's a legend at Forest, it was a mistake sacking Billy and bringing him in. Great player, terrible manager and 2 wins in 20 shows that.

I remember a previous u21 tournament his midfield 3 was mancienne, Phil Jones and Rodwell, 2 Cb's and a player who was a cb in his youth team days, absolute joke of a midfield I'd have sacked him on the spot

It certainly looks like Danny Mills was expecting to see Forest lose again today and thought he'd be slating a sacked man... Unfortunately Pearce won't be able to get another win anytime soon, and Mills will eventually be right.

In the meantime he'll look like a bit of a dick. Pearce should call him out on it.

To be fair to mills, Pearce does come across as a complete twat and has been found out as a manager repeatedly.....he just isn't very good and the stats say it all.
