Coincidence?

Bent leaves, scores bagfuls for Sunderland, then Villa.

Taarabt cant stop scoring.

Keano in a spurs shirt would be outrun by an electric wheelchair. Moves to bingo boys and scores on debut.

So did Crouch, one our players aswell, away to Blackburn, a game which we won. On a night when City only drew, to bring us back in the CL mix.

Taarabt is playing in the Championship. Keane was playing for against Blackpool who can't defend. Bent was Sunderland's main man, and is now Villa's main man. He was hardly the first person on our team sheet. So yes it is a coincidence. This thread probably gets my vote for the most pointless thread in 2011.

Adel now worth 10x what we sold him for

I don't think so, everyone who knows anything about football can see the lad has all the talent in the world but is unwilling to put a shift in or generally work in a team. Therefore no top club would take a punt on him as its like you are defending with only 10 men constantly

Inclined to agree with Shogun here. Seeing Adel's behaviour at the weekend against Hull just proves he hasn't grown up at all and is still a million miles from being near a 'big' club. That wasn't captains behaviour.

Is your point that if they had been still at spurs we would have won by more last night?

Don't forget Suarez!

He's already now proven he'll be a MASSIVE success by scoring on his debut. *cough* against Stoke *cough* at home *cough*

Harry and Levy are facking clueless!!!!

have we got a sell of fee clause on adel, because he will probably go for quite a bit of money at the end of the season

 its ironic isnt it, i remember the negativity towards comolli and his signings, he turned out to be pretty good in the end at discovering talent, its just they all took a long time to cook!

To be honest, he clearly needed the loan spell at QPR, but it is a shame that we couldn't have kept as a loan as whatever his deficiencies, and he clearly has them - decision making wise - I honestly think it would have been worth keeping him as a creative option.

After what, 6 years, Lennon still makes stupid decisions 8/10 times and is hardly a trojan worker off the ball either.

Before everyone pisses steam, I'm not saying Taraabt should have started every week in place of Lennon, just he clearly has fuckloads of ability and his brain isn't much worse than Lennons. Would have been nice to have that wild card creative ability as an option in your armoury as it's pretty rare. And lets face it, if the kid had a brain as well he'd be worth more money that Christiano Ronaldo.
