Losing 3 games last season doesn't strike me as frequently as you suggest, occasionally is surely more fitting but all teams do that.

Speaking of trolls 2 posters have a different point of view to you on this and you've spammed them both lol

Because you're arguing about things which are completely unrelated to the point - spurs aren't a "lesser team" than Chelsea (or if you think so, you're probably 10 years old) and you are either a WUM or struggling to understand a basic concept - that of team tactics being more effective than the cost of individual players.

If I knew I was dealing with someone of either category, I would have stated "when Chelsea drop points, it is frequently against teams who have a far less substantial transfer outlay. This is often due to the style of play that expensively assembled teams tend to find difficulty with. As a result, I don't feel that substantial transfer budgets are detrimental to the widely competitive nature of the Premier League".

I apologise for making the assumption that you could follow the path of the conversation and join some dots in your head.

And I'm sorry you can't accept people have different opinions to you

If you think you can, I'd self-evaluate the last half a dozen posts you've made. Like one of those people who go around telling people "You can't handle being wrong" in a desperate fever, so as to avoid being wrong about them.

In an attempt to steer this weird little crusade back on topic...

EVERTON IN FOR YARMOLENKO?

Everton have opened talks with Dynamo Kiev over a potential deal for Andriy Yarmolenko, according to the Liverpool Echo.

It is claimed Everton are willing to meet the winger’s €20m release clause and are hoping to wrap up a deal before the September 1 deadline.

One to upset a few on here if that happens...

As much as I hate those fucks, acting like we're on their level as a team is ridiculous, they've just won the League, we've not won the League in 50 years, no matter how you look at it that team is superior to ours.

However, as a club we're so much better than those fucks it's not even a contest, we have better fans, better history, our players are better people and our front-office is better, all they have is oil-money.

So yes we are a lesser team, but we are not a lesser club, so spam me all you want, but that's the reality.

All your wordy bluster and misplaced self-righteousness doesn't hide the fact that you're talking nonsense. Of course Tottenham are a lesser team than Chelsea. History only counts for so much, and they've achieved more in the past decade than we have in pretty much our entire history anyway.

Juve have signed Alex Sandro for €26m. Happy with that one. He'll work really well for both the full back and wing back roles.

Great teams win honours with style and integrity - Chelsea have bought and cheated their way to a few trophies, but have next to no discernible history prior to Abramovich.

Trying to insult someone to make your point speaks volumes.

Just seeing Chelsea beat United to pedro, a player they don't even need but bought because they can block him going to a rival.

City about to splash north of 60million themselves

And United seemingly ready-to blow 60 plus on a striker...

What's the point of this league anymore, we're all just making up the numbers apart from the top 3. Fighting over the left over turkey anus that is 4th place.

Frankly it's boring, ffp has done nothing except stop other clubs from joining that little elite

Still better than watching UTD win everything every year like they would have if Chelsea and City hadn't started buying titles. We would probably the most uncompetitive league Europe until the oil money began flowing.

I'm not insulting you really, just pointing out that your arrogance and patronising attitude towards a number of posters over the past couple of days (possibly longer, I've only noticed you the past few days though) isn't backed up by anything more than a reasonable grasp of English. I wouldn't pull you up based on your posts, which I mostly disagree with but don't find particularly offensive.

While I'd love your first point to be true, sadly it just isn't. By most people's estimations, Real Madrid are the biggest club in the world with the most history, despite being probably the single most self-evidently evil empires in the game. Chelsea are just an extension of that - it's unpalatable, but that doesn't make it any less true. Ask anyone outside of Tottenham who the bigger club is, and the answer will be the same every time. I would imagine the vast majority of Tottenham fans would probably agree too.

Chelsea are a bigger club than Tottenham. It's that simple. Their club being staffed by scumbags and supported by swamp mutants doesn't change anything.

You are ignoring the fact that people, the one above in particular, start (and often irrelevant) arguments with arrogant and patronising remarks. I pointed out that Chelsea suffer bad results against smaller teams, and suddenly I get the statement dissected and, seemingly, intentionally taken out of context for what I assume is a wind up. You don't seem to have any issue with people scoffing at a post (with absolutely no detail or validity in the response) - so why are you so readily attacking my right to defend myself?

It's a no win situation - if I say something simple (assuming the reader can grasp the point being made), I get flamed for not making the point glaringly obvious - If I express to a finite degree what it is I'm saying, I get you saying it's "wordy bluster" (when my point is frustration rather than aggression) and "self-righteousness".

Far too many people on here will wade into a thread without so much as skim reading the topic, misunderstanding the points and making ill-informed remarks to the OP - yet people aren't allowed to make an observation of that behaviour without being insulted.

You might find more use looking at who the perpetrator is with these things, rather than blaming the guy who is trying to defend himself and the original point (which is often completely different that the one someone is trying to debate).

United to bid £20m for Mane apparently. I originally misread 'Sadio' and saw 'Saido' and nearly had a heart attack.

I saw that as apparently a 'cheaper' option to Pedro. Hmmm....

Torres cost £50m and was gash
Carroll cost £35m and was gash
Shevchenko £30.1m...gash
Veron...£28.1m... gash
Aquilani..£20m...utter gash
Paulinho...£18m...gash
Lamela...£26m...still waiting
Soldado cost £26m and...erm....

Kane....free.

Even a dream team can lose to Bournemouth on a wet night in February, so I wouldn't worry too much about what other clubs are spending their money on. Boxing clever wins a bout, not the hardest punch.
Lamela still waiting? pmsl
