Really is a good try for Sam...Wickham and Sunderland are bickering over a contract so low balling them is a good idea.

But think Sunderland are going to try and hold out for the full £8m they paid.

He is perfect for them tbh HOWEVER, is this 352 formation viable, Netherlands looked poor against teams that sat deep and hit them on the counter and were lucky against Costa Rica.

Every team in the PL will sit deep against united except the top 4 and try and hit them on the counter.

Well I think you have to give Holland credit, they had a pretty mediocre team and came third in the competition. They lacked a bit of creativity from midfield - Sneijder was well past his best and their options in the rest of midfield were pretty uninspiring. United have a lot better players like Mata, Herrera, Carrick, etc in those positions, and also much more suitable players in the wingback positions. So I would say they may have some trouble breaking down the weaker teams, but I doubt it will be a major problem for them.

The more worrying thing (for them) is the state of that defense and midfield. If Herrera or one of their defenders (who already aren't that good) gets injured, the quality of backups drops significantly. If they intend to play the 3-5-2 system all season, they need to sign 2 quality central defenders imo, plus a central midfielder and a right wingback.

But I don't think they should have too much trouble breaking teams down.
