I think the key to it all is to introduce more rotation of players in the way we have seen Walker/Trippier and Rose/Davies work out this season. We're overstocked in central midfield but very short on defensive midfield and striker options. To get decent cover in those positions players will want game time and rotation and rest is the only way it can realistically happen. Have a whole squad fully onboard with this would be fabulous.
Absolutely, but we need players Pochettino would want to rotate with. It often becomes very clear when Pochettino doesn't feel he has adequate alternatives. As you say, certain midfield positions are obvious examples, and I think we must recruit from outside the squad for a total of 2-3 positions, to namely achieve the goal that we seem to agree on.

The only problem with a back up player is just that, they're a backup as in not as good as the first choice.
As has been seen many times on this forum backup players have split opinions amongst the fans and are normally vilified for not being as good as the first choice, besides you could argue that Son and Chadli are backups (and we've seen how they're treated when asked to fill in for HK)

I obviously meant a quality back up

I agree with you m8, but unless your a team like Real/Barca or Manure (during the Ferguson era) where your challenging on all fronts, finding that quality that is prepared to sit on the bench is not an easy find.
Most players egos/agents won't have it. We're good but not that good yet, but hopefully soon, very soon will be

All his highlights on youtube...just search levi garcia from trinidad...he has recently signed for AZ in Netherlands...already has two caps for senior national team...plays on left wing/ forward....sensational talent...also plays unselfishly...trinidad actually top the concacaf group with usa and guatemala after 4 games...but was very impressed with him yesterday!!!

I don't think its a myth considering he has spent most his life playing in that position. Perhaps the no.10 role is wrong but he has spent most of his professional career playing as a deep striker

He's never been a no.10 in the traditional sense of most people's understanding. 10's are playmakers, they are quick brained, metronomic, adroit, deft, clever, incisive, creative, not hulking fulcrum's who's first touch isn't always the deftest, who also can bumble a bit, are better at roughing up CB's than splitting them with a look left and play right through ball.

Kane is an Über 9. And I'd much rather he stuck to that, because great uber 9's are even rarer than 10's or ACM's.

There is no traditional #10, it's just a soundbite pundits use to try and sound like they know what they are talking about. There are several types of #10 and the second striker/foward type (Pele, Baggio, Bergkamp, Eusabio, Del Piero, Sheringham etc) are just as "traditional" as the playmaker type.
