Yeah but to mention we are looking at the them, normally he'll just say he doesn't talk about other team's players. Obviously that courtesy doesn't extend to Ligue 1.
Maybe they have been sealed already, it is strange for Poch to talk names.

To be honest I really would not be surprised if we are planning to sell Davies.

Poch plays the fullbacks so high up the pitch and they need to be quick and athletic.

Davies is fairly solid defensively but he's one of the few players who I've felt don't quite fit the system. His natural tendency is to stay back and defend.

He's so different to Rose, which means we naturally must play differently when he's in the team.

Contrast that to the alternative to Walker on the right, Trippier, who is quick, loves to get forward and puts great balls into the box.

Maybe Umtiti is coming in as a LB.

Or it could well be that Poch and the scouts have seen something in him and wants to convert him like Dier.

Maybe Pochettino sees something in Davies as a DM. Or maybe just wants to replaced Davies altogether which is a shame I think because I think he is a very good back-up.

That's really out of character for Pochettino. Not in a bad way (of course), but he's just so tight-lipped when it comes to all things transfer related.
Almost makes me think its a smokescreen - driving up the price for those players as other teams come in, and Spurs grab bargains elsewhere.

Either that, or they are done deals - but seems like the clubs and agents would want to get e bidding war going.

Just have a look on Umtiti performance this season, there is a period that he missed six matches in the league during November and December, and Lyon lost 5 and draw 1 of these 6 matches... (including a 5-1 lost to PSG and 3-0 to Nice).

Or maybe we are looking at him as a CB his best position that he looks class in.

Or sees him as a central defender.

Really? Need the context of the quotes though.
“I’ve always said that I would be pleased to join a great club like PSG,” Pochettino told French radio station RMC. “Come to Paris? I hope so. It is true that it would please me. It’s part of my dreams. I try to watch all their matches, especially in the Champions League."

That doesn't sound good for us, but he also says "The [French] championship is not very attractive because PSG is far from the other teams but I look a lot because it is a major source of players. There is talent so I have to follow Ligue 1."

We were all over WBA when they sat deep. Hit the post, Eriksen brushed the bar etc.. They caused us problems when they started pressing us back and we didn't have the pace to counter, which is quite sad when they had Dawson, Olsen and Yakub. Might have been an ideal opportunity for a player like Boufal IMO.

Or N'Jie. Isn't he supposed to be fit again?
