No idea if true or not but we should be going for Daka regardless of whether Kane stays or goes.

Lack of a manager really starting to hold us back now with other teams beginning to get things done.

Daka and Konate? Liverpool are making some fantastic signings.

As they should!
I think klopp and the owners have seen the results this season of not doing enough to strengthen after their title win. (Jota was a great signing but picked up an injury which showed up an already light squad as did VVD’s injury)

It pains me almost every season how slow we are to get players in or out!

We were reportedly tracking him for years and he goes off on a free. Wonder what happened there.

Yet another foreign player though right? We really need to reserve our foreign slots for proven quality signings.

Levy couldn’t move less decisively if he tried. Always misses out on players because of it

Ref: Kim Min Jae

Watched him a fair few times and didn't understand the supposed links back then.

Big unit yes, but far to eager to rush out from defence to try and win balls he had little to no chance of winning, leaving massive gaps to be exploited in behind him.

I was much happier when we snaffled Rodon.

Since Poch famously said we needed a painful rebuild after the CL final defeat, we have actually replaced half of the squad and invested close to £150M in the first team.

Sales:
Vorm (released)
Gazzaniga (released)
Trippier £20M
Vertonghen (released)
Rose (released)
Wanyama (free)
Eriksen £17M
Llorente (released)
Janssen £8M
KWP £12M
N’Koudou £4M
-----------------
TOTAL £61M

Purchases:
Sessegnon £25M
Lo Celso £45M
Ndombele £54M
Hart (free)
Bergwijn £27M
Højbjerg £15M
Doherty £15M
Rodon £11M
Reguilon £27M
------------------
TOTAL £219M

Net Spend £148M
ù

What amazes me is how much like a poch-led revolution this is. Since he left we've signed players he would universally have approved of; far more than Jose.
Doherty and Regulion are attack minded full backs with glaring flaws in their defending. Rodon is young, hungry and reasonably quick. PEH is a destroyer in the Wanyama mould. Bergwijn is a non-winger, tactically and technically astute. The loanees look like they were sought for Jose but the permanent signings all look like squad depth for a Poch rebuild.

I don't think we're far off a squad poch could work with. A Rb, lcb and striker and he could have a capable team to crack the cl places for the following season. Assuming we lose Kane, we might end up with something like this which has the potential to be very decent indeed.

Lloris
Aarons Sanchez Laporte Regulion
PEH Ndombele
Bergwijn Dele Son
Jesus

Subs including Lo Celso, Rodon, Doherty, Sessegnon, Scarlett, Skipp.

Still got Sanchez at the back? Still got Dele as our #10? Mid table team.

Barca are doing great business for a club that is bust ...

Wijnaldum
Aguero
Garcia

... all on frees.

Depay and Donnarumma rumoured.

I disagree. Besides there is much more to come from a lot of these players. All the AMs switch positions in a poch system. I think we'll see Lo Celso start to shine more as an Eriksen alternative.

It's good that certain players are vying for the exit door but it tells you all about their character
