Multiple player of the year Micheal Dawson? The same Dawson that fans were constantly saying wasn't good enough only for him to up his game every single time?

I wish we had a defender like him now.

Loved Daws but got found out when Ledley, Woodgate and Gallas wasnt there and had to be main man.

No he didn't. He was part of a pairing, yes, and not the leader, but he can't be criticised for looking bad next to a traffic cone or a donkey. He wasn't a one man defence but neither were the players you listed.

Agree with that but just never felt he took that next step up and became the main man. bit like Gary Cahill at Chelsea. Brilliant next to Terry but when he had to become main man, wasnt quite there.

But give me daws commitment and passion in this backline any day of the week.

Good. Now never speak ill of Dawson again. I loved his big grinny stupid face.

Did someone really say Lo Celso and Ndombele are nowhere near good enough and actually got three agrees and no disagrees?

ghostofarmo: Hmm
In Aguero
Grealish
Milenkovic

Out
Kane
Just what I've heard...

Thanks as always Dov for the whoring but Grealish will only cost about £100m+ so the majority on the Kane money on a LWF, where Son plays. Though he is bloody fantastic!

Ignoring if it's realistic or not (which I don't think it is), if you're going to lose Kane, the best you can hope for is a generational english talent to replace him, and Grealish is the only one we could actually maybe get. He's absolutely brilliant and although not a striker, would keep us at the level we're currently at and not make us fall off a cliff if Kane did go.

As for the other two... you're alright ta.

If Kane goes we need someone with production and promise. Malen, Andre Silva, Lautaro Martinez, Jonathan David, DCL maybe?, Watkins maybe? , Ivan toney? Realistically lukaku and haaland wouldn’t be options. In addition, If we get ~150-180 mil for Kane, we need to spend a good chunk of that on a top CB: kounde, fofana, skriniar, gimenez, koulibaly. Grealish is fantastic, but the last thing I want to do is give aguero a willian-type deal only for him to be injured 75% of the time.
