We are still getting linked to this guy. Him in and Aurier out perhaps?

This should be the guy we go all out for but I suspect we will go for Aarons or someone like that instead

Surprised nobody mentions Harrison Reed from Fulham, every time I’ve seen him he impresses, gets about the pitch well with & can pass a ball too as well as getting “stuck in”.

I was impressed when he played against us.

Very tidy and moves the ball on quickly, my one reservation is that he might block Skipp's path to the first team, but with his efforts off the ball as well he'd be a definite improvement over winks and sissoko.

Him, Anderson and of course Anguissa from Fulham.

If we sold dier, davinson, Doherty, winks, Sissoko and maybe even ndombele for those three and filled the other spaces with foyth and Skipp it wouldn't be the worst decision.

I imagine we'd make a healthy profit as well to get in a RB as well.

Jose may have not rated him, the club possibly does, however we're not going to pay £30m and neither are Everton at the moment.

Possible wishful thinking on my part but I think even the big clubs across Europe will need to balance their incomings with offloading some of their unwanted talent, no matter how good or promising they are.

But being realistic about the terms of the deals, and the prices will surely affect everyone. Can see a lot of loans with options, which will spread the cost for the buying club, fund some wages/incomings for the sellers and potentially puts a transfer price on the deal for a more commercially productive time in 12 months which may make the price tags more workable.

Lot of reports around again that we’re in talks with Jerome Boateng? If we’re looking at bringing in two CBs then I think he would be as good an option as we can get on a free

Spreading transfer fees over several years is what all clubs did before Covid. We do it over 3/4 years usually.

There may be deals that we can win the valuation on though, with clubs in a difficult financial situation.

I don't think its true but if it is it just highlights our lack of coherent strategy with recruitment.

It's all over the place.

Caleta-Car allegedly on his way to England this summer. Left footed CB but I know literally nothing about him.
