I think this would be a great game to bring Kaboul back into the fold. Daws has played an awful lot of minutes lately. Walker - Kabs - Chirices - Fryers (Naughton) would be my preferred back four.

I'd like to see AVB experiment a bit with the attacking midfielders as well. I really think Lennon - Lamela - Townsend could work.

With our other left backs out against the bottom club surely Fryers has to play.

It is tight call. Both lads a poor at best. But they do give their best.

I have a good feeling about today. It feels like we are turning a corner and as has been confirmed all week. The players are right behind AVB. Can't see us losing this. Still not sure I will bother coming in here during the match though? Hope it's more positive than Wednesday night.

I agree about the defence and this is the three behind Soldado I really want to see, but I reckon Holtby might be given another go.
Ideally we need Dembele and Sandro in midfield with Holtby coming on second half imo and give Lamela a full game.

Holtby can't be considered for just the goal he scored as he was otherwise poor.

I really like to see Carpool tried at LB. He cannot be any worse than Naughton. At least he is stronger and more athletic.
